11. 2016 Topps Update #US20 Junichi Tazawa


Born in Japan but decided to skip playing in the NPB to pursue a MLB career, due to this, he signed with the Red Sox in 2009 who played with through the 2016 season before signing a 2-year deal with the Marlins in December, 2016.


12. 2016 Topps Update #US106 Ji-Man Choi


Born in South Korea, Choi was signed by the Mariners in 2010 but was eventually picked up by the Angels in the Rule 5 draft in 2015, he made his first MLB appearance in 2016 with the Angels and was released this offseason and has since signed a minor league deal with the Yankees.


13. 2017 Topps #290 Shin-Soo Choo


Born in South Korea, Choo is one of the longest tenured South Korean players ever, having played in the MLB consistently since 2005 when he made his MLB debut with the Mariners.


14. 2016 Topps #54 Jung Ho Kang


Born in South Korea, Kang started his professional career in the KBO in 2006 before being signed by the Pirates in a bidding war prior to the 2015 season. He also happens to be one of my favorite players.


15. 2016 Topps Update #US182 Hyun-Soo Kim


Born in South Korea, Kim started his proffesional career in the KBO in 2006 before signing a 2 year deal with the Orioles prior to the 2016 season.


16. 2016 Topps Update #US258 Seung-Hwan Oh


Born in South Korea, Oh started his professional baseball career in the KBO in 2005 before signing with the Hanshin Tigers of the NPB before eventually signing with the Cardinals prior to the 2016 season.


17. 2016 Topps Update #US65 Byung-Ho Park


Born in South Korea, Park started his career in the KBO in 2005 before singing a contract with the Twins prior to the 2016 season.


18. 2016 Topps #293 Hyun-Jin Ryu


Born in South Korea, Ryu started his professional career in the KBO in 2006 before signing with the Dodgers prior to the 2013 season.


19. 2016 Topps #178 Rob Refsnyder


Refsnyder was born in South Korea, but was adopted by a couple in Southern California when he was only 5 months old.


20. 2016 Topps #379 Wei-Yin Chen


Born in Taiwan, Chen started his professional career in 2005 in the NPB before signing with the Orioles prior to the 2012 season.
