It all started somewhere, though, and that date was February 14th, 1996. Valentine's Day. I had already been collecting cards for 8 years by that point, but none of my friends collected NASCAR or non-sport. Everyone collected the NBA. So Mom got me a pack of 1995-96 Fleer for Valentine's Day and changed my life forever. Later that night, I found the Knicks-Hornets game on MSG, and the rest, as they say, is history.
