He was NY-based and I'm sure he was on Topps' speed dial ... I posted a few of the cards he must have done, along with his pics that were near duplicates (link included).
I also think many cards were produced from his photo sessions, even if a similar card photo is NOT in Getty. I put in examples of my guesswork, too.

Good job. Requena published his own postcards and 8x10s that were sold to players to answer fan mail and for sale at Yankee Stadium and nearby souvenir stands. His stuff is normally associated with Pan American Photo, his company. | ||
As for making a lot of money on the Reggie rookie card photo, that's highly doubtful. Most Topps photographers got a one time price for the images and were not entitled to long-term royalties. | ||
