I have no issue selling if we do not have matches. I will happily talk to anyone interested in buying. I also have no issues on buying cards. Other items that I would look at, that might not be on my WL are the following -

Refractors, Die Cuts, Chrome variations, HoF RC duplicates that I already have

Currently - My wants change from time to time. I think I have landed on trying to slim out my collection to long term holds like HoFers and Stars. It's something I can pass down to my kid if something happens. Order of priority is listed below -

1. HoF RCs

2. Robin Yount career Topps run

3. Current stars RCs

Concerning trading - I will want to know the condition of the cards I will be receiving. I have been getting cards back that are not equal to the cards I'm sending in terms of condition. If you can make me aware of the conditions I would appreciate it so I'm not surprised. Most likely I'll still accept the trade. For values I use eBay and Sportlots.

I have over 350+ cards on my eBay page. Anything starting at $1 and up. Link is listed below.

I'm pausing on trading for a little bit because I bought a huge collection and need to go through it to see what I really need.  I'm hoping to be back trading by June.

I collect mainly baseball cards.  I have other items in my collection but considering selling or trading those for baseball cards.  Anything 1982 older if I don't feel it is Near mint then I will contact you to make sure you want the card prior to accepting any trades.  I do that since most of those cards are older and were not protected as well.

After being on here for a few years and doing lots of trades.  I have to say this website is great and most people are fair and are respectful of the quality they are trading to others.  I do want to set some guide lines when trading with me though.

VARIATIONS :

I am building master sets so if I have a variation on my wantlist I'm looking for that particular one.  If you send me the wrong one I will ask for the correct one or a replacement.  When you request a variation I will be providing that variation. If you don't have the correct variation please let me know prior to mailing.

CONDITION OF CARDS

If you don't let me know prior to mailing I have to assume the cards are in NRMT condition.  If not I will be asking for replacements.  Especially on any cards from 1980 and after.  I'm only looking for NRMT or better after 1980.  Again just like the variations I will ask for replacements ones if they are not.

Anything prior to 1979 I will consider on condition but all of us have different standards on condition.  I prefer to have pictures moving forward for anything in the true vintage era of cards to make sure we are on the same page.  If it has a crease please let me know so I can decide fairly if I want that card.  I will do the same for you.

WE ARE ALL COLLECTORS HERE.  I WILL BE SENDING YOU CARDS IN GREAT CONDITION UNLESS OTHER WISE STATED AND I EXPECT THE SAME IN RETURN.

TRADES AND OFFERS

When I do offers I try my best to match up value.  When receiving offers I will review pricing.  Unfortunately there is no real great site that everyone agrees upon since prices are all over the board on here, ebay and other selling sites.  I will typically us Beckett as the fairest guide since both sides will be increased.

I will sell cards if someone is interested but most times I'm not interested in buying them.

If you don't see a match for me on the trading match feel free to see if I have the card already in my collection.  If not there is a good chance I would accept it in a trade.

SHIPPING

I will always ship in a PWE unless otherwise instructed or if the trade larger than a couple of PWE's.  Right now I'm trading to Canada.

My profile picture is me with my favorite player Manny Sanguillen in the summer of 2023.

My Collecting History

My first pack of cards was in 1971.  My mom bought me the pack of cards from Bullman's Market in Mt. Chestnut, I remember that.  But I was only 5, so the collecting bug didn't take hold.  It wasn't until I was 11 in the summer of 1977 when I started collecting baseball cards.  I would buy all the 15 cent packs of baseball cards I could with my allowance money and the money I made from my paper route. Later that summer my grandmother had given me a bag full of hundreds of older baseball cards she had collected.  I didn't know many of the players names at the time, but thought they were cool.  Turns out they were mostly 1960 Topps baseball with a bunch of 1959 and 1961 Topps baseball.  In the summer of 1979 my father took me and my friends to a flea market in North Park, I think it was called Wildwood Flea Market.  It was the first time I saw a dealer that sold baseball cards.  I remember buying a Mint condition 1960 Yogi Berra for $5.00, I am sure there were others, but the Berra is the one I remember.  (I may add more to this in the future, but that is enough for now.)

What I Collect

Mostly vintage baseball.  Vintage being 1980 and before.  After 1980 just cards that I really like or have a special meaning to me.  My favorite sets are 1954, 1956 and 1960 Topps Baseball, also 1949 and 1953 Bowman Baseball.

Priority of my want lists:
1 - Any and all Phillies cards (almost anything not in my collection is a "want")
2 - Various set ventures (baseball - 1972 Topps, 2016 Topps Chrome, Archives, Heritage sets, then hockey sets)
3 - Baseball HOFers (1980s)
4 - Baseball HOFers (1970s)
5 - Baseball HOFers (1990s)
6 - Baseball HOFers (other decades)

If there are any other categories of want lists, they would fall between set completion and HOFers.

I added approx. 90,000 cards available for trade in early 2023.

[The next section has been updated on 3/4/2024]

Note: Currently transactions are ON.

While I have transaction requests turned on, trade proposals will be handled in the order in which they are received. I am continuing to take it slow because I don't have the time or patience to take on too many trades at once. Additionally, I have found that it makes it easier on both sides because the cards are known to be available. And please, when we do trade, please make it so that the postage to/from your location to mine makes a trade worthwhile for both of us. Thank you.

Please also note that I am very much open to selling in addition to trading. If you see stuff you want and don't have anything in return, that's okay. We'll work out a deal that will be fair for both of us, not just me (and not just you, please). (The listings over at the SwamiLee account are in my possession and I am also selling those. The only sport left there is baseball.)
