I trade cards to build baseball, hockey and some miscellaneous sports / non-sport sets. I also PC Felipe Alou, Derek Aucoin, Steve Begin, Jennifer Botterill, Kevin Dineen, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, Bob Kudelski, Manon RheaumeGabriela Sabatini and P.J. Stock as well. I do not buy cards. I also have a sweet spot for oddball / food issue / regional sets. New cards are regularly added to my FT/S list and all the cards I list here are NRMT or EX unless specified and I expect the same of you.

I don't collect micro-variations (dots, stars, copyright marks, holograms, printing plate codes...), they're not fun to search and I dislike the incessant frequency with which new ones are added. Seriously, what's the point if you gotta need to use a magnifier glass to check out if there's a dot on the back of a 1991 Fleer? However, I do all my best to check all my cards and to keep my lists up to date, but please ask me first, if micro-variations matter to you. The site really needs some way of opting out of micro-variations (just a default / any var. / unverified option for each card).

Besides helping to complete our collections one step closer each time, the opportunity would be nice to have traded with all the states, provinces and territories of North America. On this site only, I traded with members in 46 states, D.C., 9 provinces, N.W.T. and overseas. I can't wait to have a trade in Alaska, Delaware, North Dakota, Wyoming, Manitoba, Nunavut and Yukon. However, if you don't live in the above jurisdictions, you're still more than welcome to trade with me. No trade to Russia, Belarus and Iran.

I'm an easy going, helpful and patient guy, but here's now my turn to announce that my NO TRADE LIST is growing due to an increased lack of civility on the forums and the full site. If (1) you nitpick and/or always have an opinion on anything and/or act like you own the site and you're not Admin or (2) you do not respond to counters or decline without expressing a reason or don't PM me to ask more time after several days of wait or (3) you send me ridiculous off-balanced offers or (4) you accept the trade and you can't mail your cards in a timely manner or you send me loose or severly damaged cards or (5) have a brand new (empty) account without info / feedback and ask for valuable cards or (6) you clearly didn't read my profile (ask first, at least) and ask me to buy your cards, then chances are that you just won a place on my NO TRADE LIST regardless of how much I may want what you have.

I am fine with shipping cards in single or multiple PWEs, if the cards are properly packaged. Also, I don't mind large or small transactions, but I currently prefer trades with 10 to 20 cards going each way or at least that the cards carry more value than the postage. I am working 12 hour shifts, but I always try to ship the same or the next business day. Just remember that Canada Post doesn't pick up or deliver on Saturday and Sunday.

International shipping is very easy, but it costs more for BOTH traders (not just from the U.S.). Here are some tips to save on shipping costs to Canada: use PWEs (Plain White Envelopes) and avoid bubble envelopes, plastic boxes and big stacks of cards. Ship as flat as you can (cut 9 pocket pages in 3 rows and insert 4-5 cards in each pocket). The more it looks like a greeting card or documents mailed in a regular letter instead of a package, the more it tends to be cheaper to ship. Current U.S. to Canada first class postage rate (up to 2 oz) is $1.40 and if non-machinable, $1.79. If you don't have Global Forever stamps handy, three regular Forever stamps work as well. There's also no need to pay $14.85 for shipping with international tracking, because it is just too expensive, it will be way slower to arrive and Canada Post won't track your postal item anyway. Overall, postal service tends to be slower in Canada and at times a bit harder to predict, but it is as reliable as in the U. S.. Lastly, no cross-border shipping by Fedex or UPS: they charge $40.00+ custom brokerage on each and every package they handle no matter if it is duty free or not.

I only use the card values posted on this site (even though they may not reflect current Market Value) It saves time if you and I use the same source , one to which  everyone has access .The only exception is when I'm looking at cards you are offering, I never value it at less than $.05 I figure your effort to store and trade is worth it to me.  Prices vary with Dealers, eBay and even Price guides. I do not send Internationally.  If your Profile does not indicate where you live and its not in the USA I will not complete the deal.  When I'm looking for trades if you Don't display where you live Country) I'll bypass you even if you have what I need, I may also have what you need. I just avoids mailing issues.  If I trade for a particular VAR that's what I expect in return.  I will always double check to make sure I do the same for you.As always a few people spoil it for everyone.

I'm a set builder.  I Prefer to trade but will sell.

NOTE : AllTetley Tea Discs are connected in original condition two player discs and a special offer disc.  I will not separate the cards.  If you are interested you'll need to trade for all three pieces.no value attached to offer card just value of players

NOTICE: I've decided to make a slight change my trading approach.   I really don't have any interest in doing these large "player collection" trades anymore.  I'm a set collector and all my traders are stored by set (in nearly 100 3,200 count boxes).  It sometimes takes me hours to pull cards where someone is only looking for certain players.  Going forward, I will be rejecting these types of large trades.  I'm looking to help people complete their sets and vice versa.  A good rule of thumb when sending a trade proposal... think how many boxes will I have to pull from?  Sorry, but I hope you understand.  Craig

I’ve been collecting cards for over 47 years and have over 521,000 unique cards in my main collection, including some nice vintage stuff.  I collect older cards of the four major sports but lately I've been expanding to some more recent sets.  I'm primarily a Set Builder and I’m looking for other like-minded set builders to trade with.   I’ve accumulated tons of extra cards that I would like to trade away with almost 250,000 cards in my current For Trade list.  Big trades don't bother me. I have a huge Want List, so hopefully you have something I need.  Feel free to make me an offer.

For Canadian Traders: It's expensive for me to trade across the border.  Going forward I would like to limit cross border trades to two (2) PWEs. That's about 54 standard-size cards.  Thanks.

For Anyone Outside US/Canada: The increased postal rates have made it impossible for me to trade outside North America cheaply.  So going forward I will have to decline trades from outside US/Canada.  Sorry about that.

Update on Donruss/Leaf * Variations and Upper Deck Holo Variations:
I can't guaranty the junk wax era Donruss/Leaf cards and the UD holo variations are listed with the correct variation.  Going forward I will no longer check the variations on these cards.  If you want these cards regardless of the variations, feel free to request them in the trade.  However, If you want a specific variation of these cards, I'm no longer your guy - please don't put them in the trade request.  For all other cards that have variations, I will continue to check and make sure you get the correct one.

Note on Vintage Cards:
I have over 6,000 vintage cards listed for trade (I consider vintage to be 1977 or earlier).  For each card I've noted a condition grade and if you check closer, a note on each regarding any condition issues (be sure to select the correct one if multiple cards are shown).  Please note that I'm by no means a professional grader and if you're hyper-sensitive on card condition, please message me first and I'd be happy talk about it.  In exchange for these cards, I have three priorities:

  • 1) similar vintage cards that I need (any sport)
  • 2) inserts for my 90s sets that I need (any sport)
  • 3) or non-junk era base cards that i need as a last resort (any sport)

Note on Card ConditionA card noted as Pr, Fr, Gd, or GdVg will have some obvious condition issues such as creasing, corner wear, or marks.  I would consider them place holders in a collection at best (I've listed them because some people do want place holders).  A VG card will usually be a clean card with some corner wear or a centering issue.  For me, VG would be the bare minimum for my personal collection.  EX will be nice sharp card and VgEx will be something just between VG and Ex, still a nice card with a small issue that prevents it from being EX.  NM in vintage is a tough find.

I have slowed down a bit on trading because my real job has me swamped and my ebay store is taking up a lot of my extra time. I am willing to trade but it may take me a day or two to get things pulled together.

I love trading. With that said, I don't like trading on uneven terms. If you want an autographed rookie patch of your favorite player from my collection, it's going to take more than 50 1987 Topps common cards. Like a lot more. As a matter of fact, even if you added every common card on my wantlist to the transaction for one rookie patch auto, I would hesitate. I value common cards as set builders, not collection pieces so if you look at the trade you've proposed from my angle and you wouldn't agree to it, then don't propose it.

I like to trade like for like, although I have no problem crossing sports or years (within reason --- a common from 1949 Bowman does not equal a common from 1992 Donruss). So if you want a Brett Favre rookie card from 1990, I would not have much trouble trading that for a 2017 Topps Alex Bregman.

My order of appreciation is as follows:

1) My favorite players - Alex Bregman, Robin Roberts (pitcher), Tyrann Mathieu and Joe Burrow. Any one of these is almost an automatic lock in any trade.

2) Baseball - This is my sport. This is my passion. Baseball cards will always be given top priority for trades. I am collecting sets from my birth year to present and I'm placing a priority on 1975 right now. Anything you have on my wantlist is of course desired but it sweetens the pot considerably if it is from the late 70s.

3) Football - I still like collecting/buying football cards but I have no real desire to collect sets any more. I will trade for the cards in sets that I've almost completed or cards of my favorite players listed above but other than that, I don't really care all that much. I sometimes watch college football but usually only if LSU Tigers are playing and on Sunday, I just find other things to do. The NFL has gotten old and boring for me.

4) Basketball - I don't care about the NBA at all. If the Houston Rockets make it to the playoffs, I'll root for them. But otherwise, basketball is not even on the radar. College basketball is more fun but I never watch it either. That said, basketball trades, at least those in which I'm the recipient of the basketball cards, hold the least amount of value for me. I think I'm only attempting to collect one set of basketball and I'm not even really sure why. So don't think that by adding a 1989 Hoops Michael Jordan to the pot, it's going to sweeten the deal. It will not.

5) Misc. - I'm not sure what this is but I'm putting it here just in case I find something interesting. Like maybe a Pele card or something. Hell I don't know. It's called covering all the bases.

I hope everyone is doing great!

Cheers!

Interested in all cards, but especially 80's and 70's Basketball, also all years of WNBA.

Prefer to only ship to the US and Ontario.  Trade only, no buy or sell at this time.

Usually use TCDb values purely because it's quicker.

Interested in deals worth more than the postage.

I'm a set builder at heart.  My recent focus has been on:

  • 1977 Topps: NrMt (mostly upgrades)
  • Gypsy Queen Inserts
  • 2012 Topps Update: 1987 mini's
  • 1993 Studio
  • 2019 Stadium Club
  • 1975 Topps: VgEx or better (early stage set build)
  • Will Clark and Alan Trammell PC

My want list reflects my set builds for 1960, 1975-1980 Topps, random major brand base sets from 80's and 90's, and a handful of sets and insert subsets from the last 10-15 years.  I also like Detroit Tigers cards and pc Will Clark, Alan Trammell, and Tony Gwynn cards from their playing days.

I like nice cards and will be upfront if anything I'm trading away wouldn't fit into my set builds.  I'm interested in VGEx or better for 1960 and 1975 Topps.  For 1976-79 Topps, I'm targeting NRMT sets but would be interested in anything ExMT or better and I'm looking for NRMT or better on anything 1980 to present.

Hello: I joined this site in March 2021.

The trades that I have done have gone very smoothly. Shipping has usually been PWE (Plain White Envelope). I have made trades where the value of cards is less than the postage. Sometimes a person (trader) just needs that last card to complete a set, so I've learned to make trades were the Post Office gets the better end of the deal.

I still have cards that I need to upload onto this website. (2003 to 2019) hoping to get those cards loaded into the data base soon.

I'm a set builder:

If you are a buyer check out my "For Sale Only Cards". All the cards in this collection are for sale. I'm still organizing my cards to put in this collection.

The following complete sets are for sale:

1987 Topps

1987 Topps - Glossy All-Star

1988 Donruss - Stan Musial Puzzle

1989 Donruss - Warren Spahn Puzzle

1991 Ultra (Fleer)

1991 Ultra Team (Ultra Gold)

1991 Upper Deck - Baseball Heroes: Nolan Ryan

1991 Upper Deck - Team Logo Holograms

1992 Donruss - Rod Carew Puzzle

2007 Topps -All Stars

Down the road I'm looking to sell all my cards. At my age (70) it's about the that time to sell all my cards. Hopefully there are people on this site that buys cards.

Have a great day.

1968 Topps Baseball -trying to upgrade as much as possible.  Any 68s on my want list is likely to upgrade my existing card in that set.  Looking for centering, sharp corners and no creasing, stains or writing on the card.  Most other sets I do not mind the condition as much.

I rarely wish to trade vintage cards for newer cards--like to stick with same eras in a trade.  However, if you see some of my newer cards and have vintage to offer--I would definitely take a look at that.

Vintage HOFer cards no matter what condition.  Looking to collect at least one card for every MLB HOF member.  Currently at 305/335 collected.

Before I accept any offers, I like to pull my cards to ensure I've really get them, they are the correct variations, their condition is ok, etc. So, it may take me a few days to respond. Please be patient.

Not a big fan of 1 or 2 common card trade requests. At least make the offer where the cards are worth more then the postage?

I am really getting into NON-SPORTS cards in a big way. Superhero, movies, old TV shows...just about any and all subjects. Don't be shocked if I counteroffer any proposal to trade sports cards for non-sports. Trying to grow my non-sports collection while eliminating what little racing, hockey and basketball cards I have.

That being said, I am really looking at sports-for-non-sports offers in a more favorable light.

IF YOU HAVE NON-SPORT CARDS NOT ON WANTLIST...

- does not mean I don't want them, probably just haven't added every non-sport cart to the wantlist!! Let me know what you have and I'll let you know if I want to collect them.

My trading philosophy...

I use the values listed in the database, not as absolute truths but more as a set of scales to weigh each side of a transaction.

Still trying to get my collection organized. To be honest, I still don't know what I have, what I want to collect and what I want to get rid of. This site has given me the push I needed to organize things. I am trading but not everything (maybe 70%) is recorded. I plan on trying to focus on just baseball, football and non-sports going forward. And to be honest, right now I'm trying to focus on non-sport. I'll trade baseball and football for non-sports.

Collecting: I'm mostly a set builder, focusing on baseball, football and non-sports (movies and superhero type cards).

- Always had a soft spot for holograms.

- Prefer smaller sets to the mega series of earlier days. 900 card sets? Meh...

- Just got back into modern set building and I'm really liking Topps Allen & Ginter sets, although the gazillion subsets and variations is confusing/annoying.

- Really don't have true "favorite players" or teams. Gravitate towards Red Sox and Patriots but I don't fixate on them anymore.

- upgraded my Mac to a new MacMini and need to re-install scanner drivers, etc. Have some cards missing in the DB and I'll spend a day or two scanning once it's up.

Stole this from another profile..."Note: I always pull before accepting a trade so please give me time when you propose a trade."

Back to sorting cards and updating my collection online...
