i dont want to sell a card thats in my collection that i need for my set to remain completed. i know i can pick and chose the triplicate the quadruple the quintuple, (i like to have two sets LoL one for play one for display or the rule of two I know its the refrence for action figures but hopfuly it can apply here too LoL)

Joined this site to help my project of building Montreal team sets from 1970 to present and am about 90% done. I have a large collection of 1980-1993 cards not listed here. I just got back in the hobby after a nearly 30 year hiatus and decided instead of blowing my money in card breaks I would build something meaningful. I really do love the nostalgia of the 90's junk era cards- I just wish they were worth something so I could be a millionaire along with the rest of you lol! 

I'm slowly getting my trade list built and I love getting trade proposals, so feel free to reach out. This applies to all cards but especially the older pre-junk era cards. If the condition of your cards are less than nrmt or mint then make an effort to note this on your entries. I, like probably most other collectors on here, am not looking to trade my sharp cards that are in a very collectible condition (usually straight from pack and protected) for cards that are withered, worn, have dull corners, creases, marks etc. Be transparent. It's a frustrating process lately it seems. People care about condition, it shouldn't come as a surprise and it's very disappointing to not get in return what you're giving

I restarted collecting hockey cards in 2017ish to build a collection for my son. Looking to buy/sell and trade for cards I want/need!

Currently, I am still updating my Sell/Trade lists. If you see cards in my Personal Collection that you need, however; DO NOT hesitate to ask me about them as I may have multiple copies that just haven't been uploaded yet; HOWEVER, I will NOT part with PC cards; only doubles if I haven't uploaded them yet. I’m a set builder. I mostly collect Hockey, but I'm also working a few 80s-90s baseball / football sets, some Multi-sport and a few non-sports sets.

I also collect several regional players. My top priorities are:

"Variations"... For my HOCKEY wantlist, the variations listed are the version I need. For BASEBALL and FOOTBALL, I only want one card / number so any version is OK.  The variations listed on my For sale / For trade list are correctly listed... but I will be double-check before including them in a trade.

I always pull cards before accepting/proposing a trade and will inform you of any condition exceptions.

I would prefer to trade Young Guns / #ed RC / star players inserts/parallels for similar cards but I'm not too strict on this.

Following a few problems with the postal service, Here the way I will send cards outside of Canada 

For trade of 4 cards or less : inserted (sleeved, taped) within a greeting card.

For 15 cards of less : PWE --> 9-pockets sleeve "protected" in a paper sheet (no cardboard). I don't mind sending 2 PWE for a trade.

For larger trade  : I must send the cards as "Parcel" (12$+) so I would prefer trades where I receive at least 100 cards (may be less cards if inserts / parallels /YGs / #ed RC are involved).

Trading:  I send cards in 9 card sleeves protected by cardboard for extra protection via lettermail. No card limits from my end! The bigger the better, even if that means it's in multiple envelopes.

I saw this on another members page and had to use it since lately I've been getting lots of cards where the condition was never mentioned. If I send you something you don't find adequate please let me know!!       

* Please do not send me creased or written on cards, rounded corners or any other major marks. I just need to know before I receive it and had no idea. I might take checklists if marked neatly.

               * If there are any condition issues on my end I will let you know before accepting trade

               * If you are concerned with the dot and no dot VAR let me know so I can double check

               * Please DONOT declare an outrageous amount on customs, if its under $50.00 they usually let it slide. Had one recently, cards worth $5.00, sender declared $90.00, I had to pay almost $22 in fees...should have refused the shipment, not a happy camper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cards to sell or trade but only my duplicate cards. Please examine the value of my cards before to propose me a trade. And try to equal the same value for fair trade. Check on also my collection cause i have many complete sets to sell and also many unopened items. If you search items of one of your favorite players i have a big inventory of Figurines to trade or sell too. Just ask me and i will respond you.

I use the Beckett Price to evaluate MY cards. I use also the market value for some other ones. I trade or sell them in using this value. I have so many respect for the value of ALL cards so its important to me to trade with this idea in mind. If all collectors did that, the value of our collections would be better and the market will be in growth. For me, each serial card is important not only the special numbered ones.

• When offering a trade please try to offer similar cards in your proposal. Base for base, insert for insert etc. I have been getting a lot of trade offers from members that fill their side of the trade with quite a few insert cards and just offer me mostly base in return. I have added Carey Price to cards I'd like to collect. These would be for my grandson who is 13 years old and he's a HUGE Price fan. Just looking for inexpensive cards as him being so young you know how kids treat cards. He also plays hockey as a goalie. I have mostly hockey - I love to trade for inserts. Adding cards daily as it takes lots of time to add everything. I do not mind trading 100 cards for 1 card if it's the same value and vice versa

I use beckett to compare prices not TCDB - if you are happy with that, let's trade by all means

Cards are as good as they can be but the 90's can have slight minor faults as there have been a lot of handling lets face it. If you are unhappy with the cards, we can always figure out something - ae. returns and paying the return postage...

marsh 2024 transaction is back on. looking to complete sets, still interested in goaltender cards, also would like to start to collect women sports cards.

Primarily I'm an OPC hockey and Baseball set builder.  My OPC PC spans 1968 to 2004 (recently started adding more current OPC cards).  Lots of holes left to fill, lots of duplicates to offer.  

Secondly, I collect Topps basketball from the 70's and 80's . . . hard to find this stuff in Western Canada, so I have a long ways to go with the basketball collection.

I also have the staple Canadian food-issued McDonald's and Tim Horton's sets - that is the extent of my more modern cards.

I don't like creases and roughed up vintage cards, but I don't demand mint condition either.  I would like to say my vintage collection is VG to Excellent.

I'm up for any trades - I'll cross sports, eras and brands.  I don't mind trading a dollar for four quarters, but I may ask you to throw in a dime.

**Trades are back on, but I may be a week before I can respond.**

I'm accepting trades but require patience. Things are busy, but I really want to get trading again. Apologies to those that I am slow getting to. This is a hobby and it falls lower on my priority list than most other things.

Prefer PWE trades but willing to do others.

I'm slowly updating my collection - it will take quite a bit of time. I'd like to make trades where possible, but I'm also happy to sell my cards at fair prices. If it's on my sell/trade list, I'm not attached to it (unless I screwed up and put it on the wrong list). Willing to trade around the world to help others out and also to get some unique cards.
