Collecting all Topps Baseball base sets from 1956 to 2020.

If I have something on my For Sale/Trade list that you need and you have nothing to trade me, I am more than willing to sell most cards on my FS/T list at a very reasonable price...especially to fellow set collectors!

VAR's: If it's important to you to get a specific variation in a trade, please let me know so I can be sure I have the correct one for you.

Currently not trading. Rethinking collecting goals with hopes to resume trading in the near future.

I collect purely for pleasure.  I am neither an investor nor flipper.  I have no delusions of grandeur that these cards will finance my children's college education or my retirement.  My collection focuses primarily on teams and players that have meaning to me, and often carry a sense of nostalgia.  When I resumed collecting in 2017, after a 20 year hiatus, I assumed I could attempt to collect everything.  Big mistake.  As a result, my Want List is vast, but my true priorities are as follows:

  • Former Michigan Wolverines.  Basically, anyone who played basketball or football at Michigan since the mid-80s.  Chris Webber and Charles Woodson are my #1a and #1b targets.
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo and members of the 2020-21 Bucks NBA title team
  • Members of the 2010, 2013, and 2015 Blackhawks Stanley Cup teams
  • Alabama Crimson Tide football players from 2005 to present
  • 1990s basketball cards - hoping to complete sets from the Bulls dynasty years
  • Garbage Pail Kids specifically of Pete (Peter, Petey, etc), Harper, and Owen

As far as trading, I try to keep it as simple as possible:

  • Keep shipping costs to a minimum.  Big PWE fan.  Also a fan of the "cereal box" for larger trades.
  • Try to make it cost-effective.  Trading two junk wax commons is not worth the cost of the stamp to me.
  • Try to keep it "fair" (base-for-base, insert/parallel-for-insert/parallel)
  • If your offer consists primarily of cards from the areas in which I am most interested, I will likely accept without hesitation.   Otherwise, I will review your For Trade offerings and counter with cards I would prefer.
  • Happy to trade internationally, but the cards need to justify the added shipping cost

Thank you and happy collecting.

Aloha to all!

*****************************************

Inventory levels are at nice, comfortable levels, as several  hundred cards were doled out to the kids last year but I was happily able to acquire many many more over the past couple years. Would like to make a little more headway on completing my vintage sets, as they took a back seat to picking up modern cards for the kids.  So please let me know if you have any of my '69-'76 needs and are ready to trade. Since all the kids are clamoring for Ohtani and my inventory levels are pretty good for most everything else, I will try to pick up as many affordable Ohtanis you are willing to trade away, then expand any trade from there.

******************************************

It has been a wonderful, busy, and fulfilling few years here!  In the past, I had to get creative in order to generate interest amongst my various little leaguers.  As most of my inventory consisted of players’ cards from before most of the kids were born.  Thanks to the traders here, Ive been able to distribute a bountiful amount of cards to the kids accompanied by a huge amount of joy!

Although the Altuve/Judge card (18T Update #79) has become too pricey to give to all of my Little Leaguers, it still remains one of my favorites. It looks just like a pic I have of 2 12-yr olds on one my former teams.  It’s a great inspirational card for the smaller kids.  Similarly, I can use an unlimited supply of Jim Abbott cards. Most every kid has a bad day in the field at some point in a season, practices/games..., so I’ll give them an Abbott card and ask them to look closely at it to tell me what they see (so no portrait poses or cards where it's hard to see he's missing a hand). Have yet to find a kid that isn't amazed!

------------------------------------------------

Slowly transitioning out of football and basketball to focus on baseball.  Primarily building sets from childhood days, working my way back in time. Current primary focus is on completing 1968, 1969, 1973, 1974, 1975 and 1976 Topps baseball sets. I will always consider trading my 80s/90s inventory for modern all-star cards, I give them away to the 5-14 yr old kids on the little league teams I coach here in Hawaii.  But since we don’t have MLB here, the young kids won’t recognize the names unless they’re all-stars or Kolten Wong/Kiner-Talefa/Ohtani(I coached a couple seasons with Kolten/Kean's uncle and Isiah’s dad).  I basically use the tcdb pricing to balance out trades, not due to any preference, but for lack of anything else. I've heard alot of static about others trumpeting COMC, eBay, & Beckett, which is perfectly ok/understandable, but in almost every case, when referring to tcdb their trades come out heavily in their favor(have yet to see one the other way around).  I’m pretty open to all trades, but like trades to be fairly reasonable.  If a trade involves cards with large discrepancies in pricing, please don't be offended.  Point them out, and the trade can be adjusted or cards removed.

For those of you like me with monster boxes of 80’s/90’s, I will trade for multiples of 12-18 of HOFers or team/all-time record holders (as long as I can ask the little leaguers a relevant trivia question so the card can be a reward). Just message me, as I would not list such cards on my wantlist.

For traders who are missing 1 or 2 cards after accepting a trade, please make an effort to substitute with something similar.

I trade cards to build baseball, hockey and some miscellaneous sports / non-sport sets. I also PC Felipe Alou, Derek Aucoin, Steve Begin, Jennifer Botterill, Kevin Dineen, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, Bob Kudelski, Manon RheaumeGabriela Sabatini and P.J. Stock as well. I do not buy cards. I also have a sweet spot for oddball / food issue / regional sets. New cards are regularly added to my FT/S list and all the cards I list here are NRMT or EX unless specified and I expect the same of you.

I don't collect micro-variations (dots, stars, copyright marks, holograms, printing plate codes...), they're not fun to search and I dislike the incessant frequency with which new ones are added. Seriously, what's the point if you gotta need to use a magnifier glass to check out if there's a dot on the back of a 1991 Fleer? However, I do all my best to check all my cards and to keep my lists up to date, but please ask me first, if micro-variations matter to you. The site really needs some way of opting out of micro-variations (just a default / any var. / unverified option for each card).

Besides helping to complete our collections one step closer each time, the opportunity would be nice to have traded with all the states, provinces and territories of North America. On this site only, I traded with members in 46 states, D.C., 9 provinces, N.W.T. and overseas. I can't wait to have a trade in Alaska, Delaware, North Dakota, Wyoming, Manitoba, Nunavut and Yukon. However, if you don't live in the above jurisdictions, you're still more than welcome to trade with me. No trade to Russia, Belarus and Iran.

I'm an easy going, helpful and patient guy, but here's now my turn to announce that my NO TRADE LIST is growing due to an increased lack of civility on the forums and the full site. If (1) you nitpick and/or always have an opinion on anything and/or act like you own the site and you're not Admin or (2) you do not respond to counters or decline without expressing a reason or don't PM me to ask more time after several days of wait or (3) you send me ridiculous off-balanced offers or (4) you accept the trade and you can't mail your cards in a timely manner or you send me loose or severly damaged cards or (5) have a brand new (empty) account without info / feedback and ask for valuable cards or (6) you clearly didn't read my profile (ask first, at least) and ask me to buy your cards, then chances are that you just won a place on my NO TRADE LIST regardless of how much I may want what you have.

I am fine with shipping cards in single or multiple PWEs, if the cards are properly packaged. Also, I don't mind large or small transactions, but I currently prefer trades with 10 to 20 cards going each way or at least that the cards carry more value than the postage. I am working 12 hour shifts, but I always try to ship the same or the next business day. Just remember that Canada Post doesn't pick up or deliver on Saturday and Sunday.

International shipping is very easy, but it costs more for BOTH traders (not just from the U.S.). Here are some tips to save on shipping costs to Canada: use PWEs (Plain White Envelopes) and avoid bubble envelopes, plastic boxes and big stacks of cards. Ship as flat as you can (cut 9 pocket pages in 3 rows and insert 4-5 cards in each pocket). The more it looks like a greeting card or documents mailed in a regular letter instead of a package, the more it tends to be cheaper to ship. Current U.S. to Canada first class postage rate (up to 2 oz) is $1.40 and if non-machinable, $1.79. If you don't have Global Forever stamps handy, three regular Forever stamps work as well. There's also no need to pay $14.85 for shipping with international tracking, because it is just too expensive, it will be way slower to arrive and Canada Post won't track your postal item anyway. Overall, postal service tends to be slower in Canada and at times a bit harder to predict, but it is as reliable as in the U. S.. Lastly, no cross-border shipping by Fedex or UPS: they charge $40.00+ custom brokerage on each and every package they handle no matter if it is duty free or not.

I started collecting as a kid in 1974, baseball, football, and basketball cards. I purchased my first packs for $0.10 in 1974 at Zane's Market in Dover, Ohio.  The next year the price jumped to $0.15.  I quickly learned to count by 15s.  I sold my entire collection in 1989 to get an apartment after graduating from college.  I regret it to this day.  I have been rebuilding my collection over the last 25 years thanks to a very supportive and encouraging wife.  I collect Topps base sets and pre 1990 baseball cards only.   I am always looking for cards I need. I have thousands of doubles from mid 70s - 80s to present plus others. Will trade vintage for vintage but not interested in most cards from last 30 years except Cleveland Indians/Guardians cards. Looking for nice mid grade vintage on trades, min VG/VG+, or  lower grade on some the HOFers pre 1970.

Complete sets; Topps 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2021, 2022, 2023.

Currently working on; Trying for better quality of stars' cards in my sets and finishing off the 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2023 Topps Heritage sets.  Heck, I'm working on ALL of Topps base sets not listed.

Players that I collect; Kenny Lofton, Omar Vizquel, Jim Thome, Cleveland Indians' team sets, HOFers concentrating on pre-1990 players.

I prefer not to ship to Canada.  It's quite expensive.

Let's trade!!

I am relatively new to TCDB but have been part of the baseball card blogging community for well over a decade. I have over 100,000 cards to trade. Also if you collect matchbooks/matchcovers, stamps, or bottle caps (including MLB/NFL caps from the 60s) I have some of those to trade, especially the matchbooks which I also collect.

PLEASE NOTE: While my modern cards are almost all mint/near-mint, the condition of my vintage cards vary greatly. Some are in quite good shape for their age; many more are in good/fair/poor condition.

ALSO NOTE: For the time being I will usually only be mailing out all packages, including PWEs, once a week, on Saturdays.

For my TCDB wantlists, first priority is my vintage Topps setbuilds. Second priority is the modern cards that I have on there. Lowest priority is the 2017-present Topps setbuilds. I do collect everything baseball, so even if you don't have cards that are on my TCDB wantlists, you will probably have plenty to trade that I would be interested in, so I'm happy to browse through your tradelist if you see cards on my tradelist that you would like to trade for.

Any and all Braves cards from 1954 - Present (RIP Hank Aaron).

I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

Willing to trade just about anything for Braves cards......

I have been trying to do the impossible and collect the entire 2016 Topps and Update Sets. Any help would be appreciated!

Fighting Irish Football....but only in ND uniform (slop,sets,inserts,autos, new, vintage, promos, regional issues)....just gotta be wearing the Golden Dome) On the hunt for the 1999 Century of Greatness set,  which isnt valuable just hard to come by. Although I wont pay $50 for a $15 set, I will reward anyone (with cards) that can lead me to finding "hard to find" cards. Open to Chicago/Green Bay/Pittsburg teams as well, since a lot of ND fans are fans of those  teams,  I can turn it into something I want. I will consider doubles that I already have to help figure out a trade. So it doesn't hurt to ask or get creative. Im not actively seeking/chasing every parallel and/or autos (newer sets) but would trade for them if the occasion arises. (everything basketball and hockey are available for trade even if it not listed for trade, just a lot of matches that dont have anything from my wantlists so they arent listed for trade)

Please be patient with "large trades" and/or anything that is a variation as I would prefer to pull/verify everything before accepting, and would rather take it slow and correct rather than quick and incorrect (still trying to figure out a "system" for organizing and staying that way in regards to baseball cards)

Fair warning: I'm kinda slow at trading and currently have a lot going on ATM (so patience is needed when trading with me) it's not intentional, just trying to squeeze the hobby I enjoy into a rl busy time.

• Working on low to mid grade 1970 through 1972 complete Topps baseball sets, but I'll take any condition just to complete these sets. I'm focusing on these right now and I hope to trade as much for these as I can. I will buy if the price is right. I'm over halfway on 1970-1972 with HOF and High #'s remaining.

• Detroit Tigers Topps Team Sets, including SP (Complete 1958 to present)

• Detroit Lions Topps and Donruss post 2015 Team Sets, including SP (Complete 1956 to present)

• West Michigan Whitecaps Team Sets (Complete 1994 to present)

• Topps Flagship Baseball Sets 1970 to present (Complete 1973 to present)

• Topps Flagship Football Sets (Complete 1981-1992)

• Topps Traded/Update Sets (Complete 1974 to present)

• Topps Pro Debut Sets (Complete 2010 to present)

• MLB Mascots

• Any other local teams of interest - Grand Rapids Griffins, Muskegon Lumberjacks, Grand Rapids Rampage, Traverse City Beach Bums, Traverse City Pit Spitters, etc.

I've been very blessed in my trades and transactions here on TCDB. Thank you to all. I will trade vintage for modern and vice versa as long as there is roughly equal value felt on both sides. I am a set builder and collecter. I do not speculate on my cards for future value. I do this for fun, not for profit. I will sell, but only to build a small bank of money to use for buying cards I can't trade for. I've traded hundreds of cards each way and I've done many 1 for 1 trades, so no trade is too big or small for me.

In packaging, I use painter's tape ONLY. I try to use a photo mailer for small trades of about a dozen or less.  I use #10 PWE for trades up to about 2 dozen cards and maybe 2 PWE for 4 dozen.  After 50 cards, I typically will use a bubble mailer with tracking.  If it is 200 or more cards, they will likely be in a box well padded.

5 cards incoming is a minimum for trades, please! (Unless it's a higher-value card)

I am prioritizing my collecting on Nebraska Cornhuskers currently, so any trades for those former players are preferred.

I care about VARs/variations/parallels. If it's documented that way on TCDb, that's the one I'm looking for! Please take a little time to confirm your cards being offered are correctly documented. Easy traps that everyone falls into are 1990s ProCards/CMC cardbacks and football hobby base versus retail base.

Check out the results of the Ukraine trip here!

Declining trade offers with no message is of little use to the person initiating the trade, show some effort to those putting together trade offers and take a few seconds to note why the trade doesn't work in its current state. A few moments to communicate can lead to a deal getting done!

On the flip side, please stop sending me 1-4 card trades showing that you didn't read/ignored my top message in bold, respect for time goes both ways!

12/4/2023 - Updated my PC lists, so there will be a mass of Jackie Robinson, Roberto Clemente & Corbin Burnes cards available for sale/trade here soon.  As I mention below, my want list is quite narrow, so I am more than willing to sell cards if we don't match up for a trade.

Came across tcdb.com towards the end of 2019, and I have now completed over 1,500 transactions, with over 23,000 cards changing hands!  Love everything about this site.  I have met so many cool people from all over the Country, and even a few from Canada and beyond. (Just completed a trade to Finland, as a matter of fact).

Stole this from another member, but......my goal is to have zero cards in my For Sale/Trade List.  So keep the proposals comin'!

(I know my Want List is relatively small, so I am certainly willing to Sell cards if we don't have enough matches to work out a trade)

My PC list is as follows (with TCDB rankings as of 2/9/2024):

NBA: Giannis (4), Dirk Nowitzki (4), and Tim Duncan (2).

NFL: Sterling Sharpe (3), and Don Majkowski (2)

MLB: Robin Yount (7), Tony Gwynn (6), Hal Morris (3), Mark Grace (7), Pat Listach (1) and Mark Langston (1)

Golf: Rickie Fowler (2)  & Joel Dahmen (2)

WWE: Lita (3)

UFC: Conor McGregor (4)

Non-Sport: Eddie Vedder, Judah Friedlander, Big Jay Oakerson, The Brothers Osborne (TJ & John), Rob Riggle, Bert Kreischer, Tom Segura, Charlie Berens, Post Malone and Brody Stevens

Although I currently live in Florida, I was born in Milwaukee.....hence my obsession with Wisconsin sports teams.  Ha.

Please check out my For Sale/Trade list, and feel free to message me or send me trade proposals any time.....let's see what we can get done!  (I don't necessarily trade based on "book value", but rather the value to me, so please feel free to counter if I propose a trade that you feel is unfair.  I also have no rules about "insert for insert" or any of that nonsense, so don't be shy to shoot me a proposal)

I've been a baseball collector since the late 80's and love to trade.  I am primarily a set collector and belong to several online trading clubs.  My never ending goal is to collect all the regular issued Topps cards from 1952 to present.

My main collecting interests are vintage cards,  Minnesota Twins,  a few newer sets and Bert Blyleven.

Vintage sets:  1952 Topps, 1953 Topps, 1954 Bowman, 1954 Topps,  1955 Topps,  1956 Topps,  1957 Topps,  1963 Topps,  1967 Topps

Newer sets: 2004 Donruss,  2005 Donruss,  2012 Cooperstown.

* I prefer not to trade vintage cards (below 1976) for newer cards.

* Before delivering or accepting a proposal please make sure you have all of the cards.

All baseball cards to build sets.  I'm not into buying multiple players as investors and discourage trades with people who want multiple cards of superstars or rookies. I will gladly trade one of each but not multiples of the same card,  If you request multiples and I overlook the multiple quantity when I Accept your Offer, I will only send one card but will notify you via message of that fact.

I have complete sets starting with the '51 Topps Red Backs, '52s except the last series, then '53 through current "base sets" except for a few dozen total.  I'm trying to fill in those few by trading, so if you have something I don't, please suggest a trade.

Again, If you're an investor looking for superstars and rookies, please look elsewhere for trades as I prefer to save those cards to serious collectors who need those cards to complete their sets.

I have football, basketball, hockey, soccer and other cards to trade and am working on getting them all loaded into this database.  Feel free to message me with your wants even if you don't see them listed.

I also have some complete sets (hand-collated) available for sale:  Please make offer on each.
  Topps 1986
  Topps 1987

Hey everybody, Jeremy here.

Big time Husker fan as I've grown up and lived in Nebraska my entire life. I'm an alum and will cheer for any sport.

Been a card collector since a wee child. Took a 15 year hiatus in college and post-college and getting back into it collecting my childhood favorites. Boy have things changed! I'll dabble in some new cards, thus, I have newer cards for trade as well.

My goal: is to help you complete your sets and/or collect your favorite players or teams. I only have 1-5% of my collection logged into TCDB thus far, so most likely have many more in your want list then what appears. I'm very open and actually prefer trading 100-400 cards for 5-15 cards in return. I understand a number of my want list includes potentially "higher" priced cards ($1-$20+), so if I need to trade 1:10 or 1:20 if you're open to that, I am as well and will ship accordingly. As stated above, I love helping others complete sets as I have a TON of doubles and commons.

I will always send PWE, unless the trade is over 30+ cards, then use a padded envelope.

I enjoy collecting: (ranking week of 4/22 ---> 5/6)
Shaquille O'Neal (#24 ---> #22) (765 Cards | 4.6% Complete)
* Ken Griffey Jr. (#42 ---> #42) (1,317 Cards | 4.2% Complete)
* Dan Marino (#15 ---> #15) (969 Cards | 5.0% Complete)
* Kobe Bryant (#29 ---> #27) (693 Cards | 1.5% Complete)
* Michael Jordan (#92 ---> #92) (615 Cards | 3.8% Complete)
* Lebron James (#22 ---> #23) (156 Cards | 0.9% Complete)
* Alex Rodriguez (#33 ---> #33) (445 Cards | 1.7% Complete)
* Ricky Williams (#7 ---> #7) (252 Cards | 5.1% Complete)

Always open to fair offers and selling any cards in my FS/FT list, as I have a BUNCH of cards I'm looking to purge as well. As I continue to get back into it, I may grow my wants/needs in completing sets, etc. I accept cards in all conditions, they don't have to be perfect.

Appreciate all considerations and will try to communicate if a card isn't in "gem mint" condition as well, as I do have some that aren't, as I actually traded cards waaaayyyyy before TCDB came along!

I do have a SportsLots Page for selling as well: https://www.sportlots.com/dealers/?dealer=Jmo34353

I'm trying to liquidate the FST list, so let's trade with reasonable offers! It never hurts to ask for a little more.

I am building my 1971 topps baseball set right now. Looking for moderate condition (GD-VG-VGEX) and I will overtrade as I build my sets.

Yes: I'll sell (Venmo/Cashapp/Paypal).
Yes: I'll trade a huge pile of cards for a big ticket card.

General Condition notes (unless otherwise noted. I'm happy to send photos if requested):

• 80s-90s-00s (EX-EXMT-NRMT)
• 00s-10s-20s (EXMT-NRMT-MT)

Cards come from a smoke-free/pet-free/Subway-bread/patchouli free home. I like to think I have all the (.) and (*) variations catalogued, but let me know if these are critically important to you.

Sent trades to 46/50 states. All 50 before I die, maybe? Where are you, AK, UT, VT, WY?

PC is Miguel Cabrera, Spencer Torkelson and Cal Eldred.

NOTE: I recently moved. Make sure you mail cards to 137 address.

I first started collecting in 1990, took a long break (20+ years) and started collecting again in 2020. I primarily collect my favorite Astros players (past and present) and Topps Houston Astros team "sets".  I am also collecting Houston Astros pocket schedules.

My favorite atheletes are:

  1. Nolan Ryan
  2. Jeff Bagwell
  3. Craig Biggio
  4. Earl Campbell
  5. Hakeem Olajuwon

I love to trade and want to help others who enjoy collecting as much as I do, build/complete their collections, while collecting every different card of my favorite players.

***I ONCE AGAIN HAVE A BUNCH OF TOP LOADERS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE OR TRADE.  IF YOU NEED SOME, HIT ME UP***

Now the #1 collector of Ryan Klesko cards on TCDB!  With more to come!

PC:

High priority: Ryan Klesko, Dale Murphy, Dave Winfield, Dominique Wilkins, Kenyon Yovan, Michael Conforto, Adley Rutschman, Nick Madrigal, Trevor Larnach, Steven Kwan, Cadyn Grenier, Drew Rasmussen, Gary Payton II, Jacob Melton, Travis Bazzana, Trent Caraway, Gavin Turley, Garret Forrester, Will Frisch, Cooper Hjerpe, Justin Boyd, Mitch Canham, Kevin Abel, Nahshon or Rezjohn Wright, Terry Baker, Christian Chamberlain, Gary Payton, Ethan Thompson, Darwin Barney, Damien Martinez, Jam Griffin, Jake Luton, Jermar Jefferson, Hamilcar Rashed Jr, Luke Musgrave, Anthony Gould, Kitan Oladapo, A.C Green "In the Name" letter cards, Jade Carey.

Lower priority: Junior Seau, some Bo Jackson, Eric Lindros, Jordan Poyer, Mike Hass, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Jacoby Ellsbury, Steven Jackson, Nick Barnett, Matt Moore, Ochocinco/Chad Johnson, Sean Mannion, Johnny Hekker, Sam Gaviglio, Matt Boyd, any Oregon State alum/player in any sport (male or female).

PLEASE SEND TRADE OFFERS.  It's my favorite part of the hobby.  Always willing to negotiate a good deal for both sides.  One card, or 10+ cards.  I'm fine with any size.  USA & Canada only, unless the card is significant enough to me to ship overseas.

I do NOT collect/keep any other cards of any other players/teams.  If the card isn't a unique card to me of one of my guys above, it's not something I will keep.  I don't want duplicates either.  I'll trade it or sell it if it's something I think I can move; otherwise, no thanks.  But I DO want any card of any of my PC guys if I don't already have it.  My trade/sell and want/wish lists are updated, so if it's not on those lists, it's highly unlikely that I'm interested in it, or I already own it.

Fan of: all OSU sports, Braves, Red Sox, Blazers, Chargers, Flyers, Timbers, Tottenham FC.

Goal for VINTAGE ONLY CARDS (condition NOT very important...just no rips/tears, no writing on the front...some creases ok...not really concerned with how the back looks): Hank Aaron (preferably in a Milwaukie uniform, but not required), Mickey Mantle pre-1969 (earlier the better), Babe Ruth any vintage year, Joe DiMaggio any year, Lou Gehrig any year, Ted Williams pre-1955, Jackie Robinson any year, Shoeless Joe any year, Jimmie Foxx any year, Satchel Paige any year, and Stan Musial pre-1960.  For basketball, would like a Alcindor while in Milwaukie, early Doctor J, Oscar, early Magic/Bird, Bill Russell, Wilt, David Thompson, Cousy, Mikan, Moses & maybe a couple others.  Prefer to stay as cheap as possible, but for the right card might go a little higher...obviously Mantle/Ruth/Joe D/Wilt and those types would be more.  Again, condition I know won't be great at these prices.  I now have a Hank, Mantle, Jackie, Clemente, Yogi, Bob Gibson, Ernie Banks, Sandy Koufax, Mays, Jerry West, Maravich and Gervin at these levels, and a couple of Ted Williams, that I'm very happy with.  But the more the merrier if the price is right!

  • I will typically send cards via PWE unless the quantity is above 20 and then I will send BMWT.  If you wish a smaller trade to be sent BMWT, please let me know & adjust the trade accordingly.

I collect Chicago Cubs team sets. Currently I have base sets from 1951 - present (mostly Topps). Right now I'm collecting other brands and non-base sets. I love those junk wax era cards.

Prefer PWE trades!  But not a requirement.

Trades of any size are welcome!

I'm very easy to work with. I don't have any rules. So anything and everything is up for consideration.

I promptly respond to all offers.

Hello everyone and thanks for looking at my profile page.

I build sets. Primarily Magic: The Gathering (MTG), and select sports/non-sports card set. I'm also looking at other trading card games besides MTG, but not sure if I have the time for them. However, I know not everyone builds sets so I've added a few past and present popular players from baseball, basketball and football to my want list as possible trades. Since there are so many cards, I added all cards for the players since it was easier than trying to go through and select specific cards.

I work and have a family, so please be patient if you send me a trade offer. I will respond.

Also, my time to send cards is limited so I will primarily send cards on Saturday and possibly Wednesday if time permits. Regardless, I will not mark cards as shipped until I've dropped them at the post office. If I can't get to the post office on an upcoming Saturday, I'll let you know when to expect cards to be placed into the mail.

If you see something on my For Sale/Trade list that interests you, but don't have something I'm looking for on my Want list for a set I'm building or as a possible trade send me an offer and let's see if we can make a trade that helps both of us.

UPDATE 11/4/23:  Back into trading to help others finish sets and fill their PC and completing my Topps '60, '65, & '73 sets along with vintage Cardinals.  Vacation from trading over summer '23 and then dealing with family tragedy.

TRADERS: I am collecting VG/EX or better, and definitely no creases or writing.  PLEASE let me know if the cards you are providing as part of a trade are not VG/EX or better, and send me pictures if you have any questions.  I will provide same for you.

NOTE re my '71 Topps For Trade:  The following cards have pencil marks on the front and should be considered in Poor (PR) condition due to those marks : #9/G. Scott, 33/D. Unser, 40/L. May, 114/B. Conigliaro, 211/P. Hennigan, 219/Hendricks, 252/Leon, 720/M. Alou  The writing is neat (must have been a precursor to my engineering career), not dark, and was done by me as a boy.  For example, the George Scott card has "Brewers" which was me writing his current team on the card.  I am willing to trade these (which if not for the marks would be at least VG/EX) and send pictures of front and back if needed.

Looking forward to some good trades!

I still have about 30K Cardinals duplicates that are not yet enterred in the database as FS/FT.

Always looking for Bryce Harper cards I don't have. If you have some, send me a message or offer.

I am NOT selling or trading any cards in my collection.

I send a lot of proposals out and usually don't ever get many. Always feel free to counter.

Pretty much always willing to trade. Usually prefer PWE trades but will always consider bigger. The most cards I've sent in a trade so far has been around 50. Would like to break that record!

Always let me know if you are missing a card or receive a wrong/damaged card because I would get replacements for you. I will always make things right.

I should have all VAR cards listed correctly. Let me know if you receive a wrong one.

I will also be interested in memorabilia, autograph, or serial numbered Phillies cards. Haven't added them to my wantlist yet and don't plan to but might at some point.

I am slowly tracking my WHOLE Phillies collection which will be a long process as I am still trying to figure out how to organize them.

I have lots of numbered/auto cards on my trade list, which I can get rid of pretty easily. Just recently, I made sure my fs/t list was organized and up to date. Haven't added many cards to it recently but hope to sometime.

Haven't bought anything on this site yet and don't really plan to, but I might change my mind.

Would be willing to sell. If we can't work out a trade we can work out a sale. Send me an offer on what you want, I will give you a fair price on them.

My collecting started in the 1950's and has grown through many ups and downs.  I became discouraged in 1980 when all the card manufacturing companies started creating numerous sets and subsets with so many variations.  The New York Yankees have been my collecting interest.  As a young boy, it was my goal to collect every card issued for a Yankee player.  Much like my stamp collection that I inherited from my grandfather, I knew that some items would be out of my price range yet never was there a time when the volume of the collection became a question.

When I attempted to pick up my sports card collection in the 1990's, I was struck by the people who were speculators in the sports card buying side of the collecting.  Those who stop in a card shop, purchased a hobby box manufacturer's brand, opened the packages, removed only the cards listing in the Beckett monthly pricing magazine as value cards, and left the remaining cards on the counter.

Recently, returning to all the sports cards I have accumulated over the years, I discovered a yearning to reduce my collecting to an enjoyable level and try to do something with all the other cards.  Searching the internet lead me to Trading Card Database.  I signed into the program and was very pleasantly surprised by the database.  I am a new user of the database and still learning.

My collecting interests are as follows:
Baseball: New York Yankees - Topps base set {all years}
Football: Jacksonville Jaguars - Cards of all manufacturing brands {1995 thru present}

I will consider trades for cards of either team.

Thank you for viewing my profile and hope we can create a trade!!!

Looking to trade for any and all St. Louis Cardinals that I do not have.  Only want cards showing the player in a Cardinals uniform (I do not need Nolan Arenado Rockies cards)  There are tons not listed on my want list that I need.  Always willing to listen to a trade offer.  Will also trade for Jose Altuve cards that my son needs.

PWE or bubble mailer is fine with me.  Please put all cards in sleeves or 9 pocket pages and use blue (or any color) painters tape over the top of any top loaders or sheets.  Shoving cards into team bags without a sleeve results in bent corners. I have received quite a few packages from traders who must own stock in a scotch tape company.  Don't over due it to the point that I may damage a card removing it from an envelope.  Bending over one edge of the tape to create a pull tab is always helpful.  Please let me know if you receive any damaged cards or postage due mailers from me so I can make it right.

I have not owned a price guide in over 10 years.  I try to use sold EBAY auction prices if trading for high dollar cards.  If I shoot you an offer that is way off, feel free to counter.  It is not my intention to insult anyone.

Last, but not least remember to HAVE FUN!  This is a hobby.

Looking to sell the majority or my trade list, so I'm throwing together lots, and listening to offers, so please DM me or send me an offer if you're looking to buy.

please confirm all cards before sending or accepting a trade with me. While stuff happens sometimes, I always confirm cards before preceding with a deal, and have that same expectation.  Additionally, please alert me if you won't be sending your trades within a few days of confirming a deal. I always send within a day, and the rare times I can't, I communicate it. So I expect the same. Simple courtesy folks.

Willing to sell stuff as well if no trade can be worked out. Must have a positive transaction history, and a pay method that protects both. Prefer any deal of this nature to be a minimum of $20 to make it worth the time. Willing to do large lots or single cards.

Due to work, will likely respond to trades/messages on weekends

I love trading, please send offers.

Yes, I’m in Canada but don’t let that stop you from sending offers. We can keep the shipping down through a PWE. It doesn’t need to be expensive.  I have helped a few members out, who were hesitant to ship to Canada. All agreed it was easy and cheap. Any questions just reach out.

Currently only focusing on my Topps Cardinals, UD Blues and Young Guns wants. Would prefer to make some YG for YG trades.

Baseball - Ken Griffey Jr, Nolan Ryan, Bo Jackson, Scott Rolen, Deion Sanders and Michael Jordan. With these if it's not in my collection I want it! And The Wizard Ozzie Smith.

Hockey - Peter Forsberg, Teemu Selanne, Pavel Bure, Paul Kariya, Brett Hull, Chris Pronger, Wayne Gretzky, Martin Brodeur, Patrick Roy, Curtis Joseph (mostly on the Blues) and Young Guns

St. Louis Blues UD team sets, Blues YGs, (down to 1 O'Reilly variation card I need), UD Blues inserts and St. Louis Cardinals Topps team sets (1951-present.) Most of the newer sets are complete, just missing some short print cards.

I also have some Topps factory sets that aren't quite complete anymore, 91-95, 04x2, 06 & 09x2. Most are missing a few team sets and possible a few other cards. Message me if you are interested in these as I would have to go through them to know exactly what is missing.

If there are any experienced fantasy baseball players here that are interested in a dynasty league, hit me up and we can discuss further.

The Rangers won the World Series in 2023. I collect any Texas Rangers cards.

It is hard to quantify how to make fair trades. Please don't be offended if I reply with "respectfully decline".

Always updating my want list and available for trade list, if I have something you want feel free to send me a message or a blank trade offer and I will do my best to find a match. Willing to do quantity for quality and vice versa, and always looking to make large trades of base cards to make room in my trader boxes and progress on sets. Cards not marked as available will only be traded for something of greater scarcity/value that I need for my PC.

My job occasionally requires me to travel and work long hours, so I may be slow responding to trade offers sometimes, however I will respond to every offer as soon as I am able to pull the requested cards and ensure I have them and they are still in acceptable condition. Most trades with less than 25 cards will be sent PWE unless there is a thick card, relic, or higher value card that is worth the postage for BMWT. I have no preference on how cards are mailed to me as long as they arrive without damage.

I started collecting baseball cards as a kid in the mid to late-80s and collected them through the early 90s. I started out collecting them with my old man, and I look back on those days wistfully. We'd sit up at night and put together sets and lists of our missing cards and that was a great thing to share with him. At some point, though, I outgrew wanting to share that experience with him, choosing instead to share the hobby with my friends. Then I started to notice girls and found other things to spend money on. I boxed up all the cards and traded the innocence of collecting baseball cards for other, less wholesome pursuits.

At some point over the course of the next 2 and a half decades, I somehow outgrew the nomadic life, became an adult, got married, found a permanent place to live, and jumped on the wildest ride of my life: fatherhood. In a fit of cleaning out my old room to make space for her new grandkids (my sister's kids at the time), my mother transported all of the cards from my childhood bedroom and brought them to live with me. To the attic they went, and in the attic they stayed for the better part of the last decade, hidden away and silent.

While working from home during quarantine, I repurposed the attic into a makeshift office to hide from my two kids, who were also at home, and who, despite my and my wife's best efforts, have no conception of privacy or quiet, and care very little for anyone else's productivity--especially when it comes at the expense of their most immediate desire. Stuck in the attic, armed with a laptop, and facing long days of working in solitude, there sat my baseball cards staring back at me, summoning me from a place and time long since gone. In a moment of sports deprived weakness, I answered their call and opened up a couple of boxes to look at my old collection. Glorious!

Within days of our local economy's soft reopening, I found a local card shop, escaped my attic, drove to it, donned a mask, and walked in to buy some new cards. I quickly learned that the days of the $0.50 pack had passed me by--quite a while ago it seems. Undeterred by the effects of what seemed to be hyper-inflation in an economy I had ignored for some 27 years, I left with not one, but two BOXES of baseball cards. Upon opening up the many packs of new cards, I discovered the advent of the insert card's prevalence, and that, unlike unicorns, autographed cards actually DO exist in packs (helllooo Pete Alonso!). Fascinated, and in need of boxes in which to store the cards and toploaders in which to protect them, it was back to the card shop for me. A couple of carboard boxes, a few bags of penny sleeves and some toploaders just couldn't be the extent of my second excursion. So, much like an addict in search of a fix, it was another box of cards for me.

But, this new lifestyle of big spending on cards I knew nothing about would prove to be unsustainable as my wife and I are also tasked with feeding, clothing, and sheltering (in place) these two children we created. Alas, it was back to the attic for me, and back to shuffling through all of my old cards, sorting out the commons from the hall of famers, sorting out the steroid users from the clean players. Thus, a new collection was born. Hall of Famers. Those are the cards I want to collect.

But, I needed a mechanism for organizing what I had, and what I wanted to get. When I bought my last pack of cards as something other than a novelty back in 1993, the internet was not yet a thing, at least not one to which I had access. I thought: Surely there is some mechanism online to help me organize these cards, and give me reason to continue sorting through this mess. And, after minimal searching on the worldwide web, I discovered TCDB. What a brave new world this is.

I look forward to getting back into the hobby. But, for now, I am going to stick to trying to collect Hall of Famers, mostly vintage (which, I have learned, is now a word in this industry that describes me). I'm less concerned with a card's grading, centering, corners, or condition than I am with the name and face on it. I'm not in this as an investment; I'm in it for an escape. Hopefully when this little 2 year-old ages a few more years, he'll begin to enjoy collecting baseball cards as much as his old man did once upon a time. If so, I hope to bequeath to him a worthwhile collection and to share the experience with him for as long as he'll have me.
