The cards could be collected from members of the London City Police and the Ontario Provincial Police, at a rate of three new cards per week. Three special "make-up weeks" were held to acquire any cards that were missed. After collecting the first 12 cards, they were to be brought to police stations in order to obtain the collector album, which measured approximately 7" by 10". The album had three slots per page in a horizontal format. Below each picture the album had the player's name, number, and a hockey tip paralleled by an anti-crime message.
