I gave this set an 8.5. It’s really cool and instead of 30 different Inserts like other issues, it features a mid range set of parallels that are also interactive to the game that can be played with the cards. The cards are treated much like a deck of playing cards for poker except these represent singles, doubles, and triples etc. in order to play a virtual baseball game. There are no bio’s of players on the back or playing side of the card. However, they do have several years of stats to back up the players card position and worth such as if the player hit lots of doubles then the card they represent is worth a double in the game you play with the deck. Collectors didn’t care for this set for some reason and once again it receives low ratings but no one ever commented why. A little trivia here for you in case you didn’t check the trivia tab on this set, but this set only contains one Rookie Card. It is #62 of Hideki Matsui. |
