So I just recently opened a box of these and I had quite a different result than the previous commenter. 93.2% set completion(including all the rookies, Bettis, Bledsoe), very little doubles, and just one checklist, and each of the inserts as well. Overall I agree with everyone that the set is aesthetically appealing, and the photography is great. The inserts, true to '90s insert style, are actually pretty nice. I would have been stoked opening a pack of these in1993 and finding one of the inserts, especially the silver prism set, they look really nice even now. If only my pull wasn't David Klingler! lol I've always liked Pacific, and this set only reinforces that. And when you think about it, for that era, only 99K print run wasn't actually that much. You'd think they might be more valuable because of it.

Opened a box, 36 packs, completed 66.4% (292 out of 440) of the set, 2 of the 4 checklist cards, 1 Pacific Picks the Pros gold border Wilber Marshall, and 1 Silver Prisim Reggie Brooks. 140 extra cards. No cards after #414, ie; the RC cards...Jerome Bettis, #434 being the big RC in the set. Overall, not a very good coalition in the box, but a nice, colorful set none-the-less.

The great action shots from this set make it stand out. The best example I can use is Bern Brostek, #185, blocking in a game against the Bills. Usually a lineman card is of him standing alone after the play, or a side view. This one shows Brostek's face and almost a pain and agony quality to it. Great shot on an unknown lineman. The action shots really do make this set stand out from most if not all, the card sets in 1993.

THIS IS A REALLY NICE SET... LAST YEAR THAT PACIFIC USED COLOR BORDERS. THE BORDERS OF THESE CARDS ARE SOLID. NICE ACTION SHOTS OF THE PLAYERS AND IF ONE LOOKS CLOSELY THE ACTION SHOT OF THE PLAYERS IS OFF-CENTER. A NICE SOLID CARD SET, THAT FEATURES SOLID ACTION SHOTS. ENOUGH SAID.
