Casey hit his first career home run (and his only home run of the season) to tie the game in the bottom of the 8th inning against the Atlanta Braves off of pitcher Rick Mahler on July 19th, 1987. The Expos won the game 2-1 in 11 innings. He had a four hit game on July 25, 1987 in a 4-3 win in 12 innings against the Reds.
