Photo was taken on June 29, 2009 at Dutchess Stadium, home of the Hudson Valley Renegades (class A short season) during a baseball game. Their promotion of the night was to pay off someone's mortgage for a month. I wound up being one of 8 finalists to compete for one of six keys after weeding the field down from 50 to 8. The event to determine who got a key: Six baby teething keys in a kiddie pool - no hands allowed - pool filled with baked beans. I was the second person to pull out a key - sheer luck - but messy. And to think, I was the cleanest of the 8. |
