This set isn't to be confused with the 1954 Orioles Photocards (set of 10 with blank backs).These are glossy RPPC with postcard backs. These were used by players to respond to autograph requests through the mail. Most of these cards are found autographed and having been mailed. Similar to the 1956 Orioles photocards, the main difference is the lack of a printed number on the back of each card. Since these are RPPC, slight croppings of many photos can be found.
