- Cards were originally issued as two panels of nine perforated cards in Oscar Combs' Big Blue Basketball magazine in the Spring 1991 (vol. 5, no. 1 issue), which sold for $2.95.
At the same time the magazine was printed, the publisher ordered the printing of all of the cards on a thicker, more traditional card stock and these were professionally cut. These cards were stored away until the players had used their college eligibility up.

These were originally published in Oscar Combs' Big Blue Basketball Magazine, Spring 1991 (Volume 5 #1). Subscribers received the set in the center of the magazine as a sheet of 18 perforated cards.
