This 2-card promotional set, highlighting three players, was given out the 1996 MLS All Star Game played at Giant’s Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The East All-Stars won the game 3-2.

This set was originally going to be released in September of 1996 during the inaugural season. It was going to be a 100-card base set featuring 10 players from each of the original 10 teams.
