Doran hit the first homerun that I remember seeing in person. I think it was 1983. ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

'84 Topps, the first pack I ever bought at the corner drug store. I distinctly remember pulling the Mattingly rookie, but I was too young to avoid being conned out of it by an older kid in the neighborhood. '83 Topps, and '84 Topps were my favorite Topps sets from that decade.
