So I'm sorting through my hockey card traders and I run across this insert from the '95-'96 Topps set
and I cannot avoid saying it was love at first sight. So, even though I am clueless about hockey and the 22 players that make up this set, I now have them on my Want List because I find the cards very attractive.
I need help, though, beyond making trades for these. I'm am 99% sure that there are other sports with similar cards, hopefully inserts so that I can pursue them in trades. I've looked at Topps from the era and have been unable to locate them so quite possibly the design may be from another company.
I hope someone from TCDB's knowledge base can help me locate those other cards.

It kind of reminds me of 2014 Topps Valor football. Big picture of the player with the team logo behind him.
But this card has a cleaner background.

I had that set not too long ago. I think that design is unique to the hockey set from Topps (no crossover to other sports), but 93-94 Leaf hockey has some similar big-logo-background inserts called Studio Signature. Those cards look like the 1993 Studio baseball base set design.
...unless you like the backs, then I'm not much help :)

I was going to mention the '93 Studio base set as well. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head that is similar.

Yes! I knew there was a baseball set but just couldn't find one in my collection. I have the Moises Alou card. Thanks for finding it for me. Now I'll add the set to my Want List.

I might have some of these in hockey. They made some close listed below. I might have some New to the Game from the 95-96 set if you want. I can just send them.
