Seen on T.V. the new sport of Quidditch.The sport from the Harry Potter movies.And the talk of teams getting ready to form a assocition of teams. Also talked about printing team card sets....any one interested? Ant thoughts?

Flying broom technology must have come a long way.

The wife and I saw that last night and she had to explain to me WTH it even was?!? I have not seen a single second of Harry Potter. Not to keen on boys with magic wands ......... now men with lightsabers thats another story. Anyhoo ...... people running around with brooms between their legs, I sure the heck hope they are wearing cans!!! =O  Don't know who it would be scarier for men or women? I think I just went too far. Bye. =/

If it was really like the movies (flying brooms and all) I think it might be cool, but from what I've seen, and looked up to remind me of what it actually is. It looks beyond silly. I guess I might be interested in the novelty of it, but then again the novelty of Bowling cards has been lost on me. Maybe kindergarden jaxx tournament cards would be more appealing?

If it is printed, someone would buy it... 

an actual league?  I hadn't heard about that.  I know Mizzou had a team (is it intramural the teams that exist but really don't) a few years ago, but since I never watched the Potter movies I had zero interest.  Same goes with disc golf, I know there is a league, but I have not interest in it despite the popularity picking up.

I do like that they plan to have cards though, as it gives a slight hope to the card business that cards aren't dead.  I wouldn't buy any though, but its still nice.

Speaking of men with brooms, do they make cards for Curling?  And the burning question, with Quidditch cards coming out, will it get its own category on here or just under misc. sports?  I think I already know that answer, but thought I'd have a bit of fun.

They do make curling cards. I know there are a few from the 90s..

Not trying to sound sexist ... but by saying that its too late ....... not only could they have curling cards, some of those ladies should make a calander. I must say there are/have been some pretty attractive ladies in the sport.

To answer my own question from the start of this thread I would rather collect Dodgeball cards.
