I have nearly completed the 1975 tops baseball set. I am having a hard time deciding which set to start on next. I have 79-91. Here are my options (that I can afford): 1962 Topps Very Good, 1968 Topps Excellent, or 76-78 Near Mint?

I collected sets in reverse chronological order until after completing the 1973 set. Since you already have '79-'91, I'd go down to '78 and then '77, and then '76, etc. If '62 and '68 are some of your outlier favorites, I'd slowly start building those as well.

you may get done faster if you do lower grade cards since they are cheaper...just an idea
I am working on a 2nd 75 set myself, in poor condition

Fill the gap, but work on 1962 a bit when the opportunity arises.
A lot of people love that set.
Im a big fan of 1978, though.

I would suggest the earlier the better so the 62 set would be my recommendation since the 76-78 cards are much easier to find, i always go for the thrill of the hunt which is why i am trying to finish my 57 and 61 sets and picking up other 50s era cards when i find them in good condition for the right price, like a bunch of 54 Bowmans i picked up from the $1 wall at one of my LCS that were in VG and better condition that i might keep or use as trade bait here.
-------------------------------
Baseball: 1957 + 61 Topps, 1950 + 53 Bowman (Color), If i win the lottery maybe i will try to finish an 1887 Buchner Gold Coin and the 1914 and 1915 Cracker Jack Sets too

75 was my first set. I like the 76 set and much cheaper than the 68 and 62, both of which I'm working on.

76 is one of my 2 favorite sets from that decade, along with 79, which you already have. So I say 76.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'm going to go 76, 77, 78 and then work on 68, 62.
