so.. Football cheerleaders... i didn't see the PID names i checked in the Football or Non-Sport category. Where do we want to put them?

Loaded question, but I'll answer politely. 

I think because they are issued in football sets, and are associated with football teams, they should get football PIDs.

Others may disagree, and I'd love to hear any reasoning in support for the category of choice.

Absolutely football. Football is a sport, their cards are football cards. You would not list a football coach as nonsport. 

I was thinking the same, but was hesitant on pulling the trigger. They only are listed by thier first name too, so gotta stalk the net for thier bio

TCDB - the reason to go looking for info on NFL cheerleaders on the Internet. At least that's the excuse you can give.

In 1994, or maybe 1995 The National was held in St. Louis. It was the first and only time I've attended. (I'm hoping to go up to Chicago for the one this year.) One of the things that I'll always remember was an area where you could get (free) autographs. There were former Cardinals players, both baseball and football, Blues players and also I think some Soccer players, The St. Louis Steamers? I don't remember if the Rams were in St. Louis at that point. There were a few, 2-3, people in front of the professional athletes getting autographs but there was a line of 15-20 to get autographs from the cheerleaders. I don't know or remember which team they were representing.  I think they were signing a calendar.

I also remember getting a lot of really beautiful high series 1973 cards from an older gentleman from New York, but that's a different story.

The National will be in Chicago this year?  I need to go.  I'm in Illinois.  It's probably been 15 years since I went to a National.  I've been to three.  Two in Chicago and one in Atlanta.  Took a week's vacation for that one and bought the VIP pass and went all week.

Cheerleading is not a sport, they cheer for a sport like fans cheer for a sport. So my obvious answer would be a big NO to listing cheerleaders names into the database.
