Deleting a collection or membership is a bit drastic. A better solution is susspending them for a certain period of time. Putting them on a trading ban for that time period. Then upon their return to be able to trade limiting their activity to only one open trade at a time, they must send first. IF they continue to to be a bad trader then after their third strike they should be banned from trading, but should still have the right to keep track of their collection

here's where Feedback plays an important role...
i'll always check whenever i looking to trade with new person just to see....
I take pride in my feedback rating because its a direct reflection on ME!

I agree with the last statement. Any time I've had issues with sending out I make sure to let the person I'm trading with know, either ahead of time or if something comes up.
It is disheartening to hear people having issues but at the same time, it happens everywhere.

It is a shame that the initial post on this thread has already been deleted. If someone is not honest in their trading, why not be able to let others know? We can then take our own precautions such as asking that they ship first and that we will only ship once we have received the cards. If they comply and the trades go through as they should, then positive feedback would be left for them. This would give the "bad trader" the opportunity to rebuild his reputation as being honest without being banned completely.

yeh. concur.. i would have like to have seen who it was. although i haven't been able to trade much, i have talked to a few ppl about items-- no one likes to get stiffed, bad enough the dishonesty and cheap stakes exist on ebay.. don't need that here. i think if admin sees that this type of action occured more than once with the same user- at a minimum their transaction button should be disabled or a use a "red flag" icon next to their name to signify there have been failed past transactions.

If I recall the OP was just saying that bad traders should be banned and have their profiles deleted. It didn't mention any specific bad trader names just a suggestion on how to handle them. An FYI bad traders list would be a good idea. As with any trading or buying/selling site one should do a little research into their potential trading "partner" before making a transaction.

I remember a member being named, and I did go to the profile - the feedback score was only 25%. First feedback was good, then three bad ones. I can't remember the user name. <... a little reseacrh ...> Thankfully, web browsers turn links different colors when you've visited the link. :)

Not sure what happened between him and herkojerko, however, the feedback there as of right now is the same as I saw previously. 1 good, 3 bad - granted 2 are from the same trader regarding 1 deal gone bad. This isn't baseball where 1 for 3 is good.Maybe Admin can make a report for us that shows traders with feedback less than, say, 75%. Another reason leaving feedback on EVERY transaction is so important. Maybe it doen't help you, but it could help your fellow collector/traders down the road.

If there was a bad traders list, there would need to be a way for a bad trader to get off of the list, as well as a minimum number of trasactions/feedback to give a true representation of the trader.
I have just started actively trading again (my interest in cards waned during the latter part of 2016), I have 5 completed trades and only 2 have left feedback. If I were to get negative feedback from just one of the three trades in progress my percentage would drop below the 75% threshold.

Good point, Alex.
Although, if you do all your parts of the trade correctly, I don't see why you'd get negative. After you mentioned that, I looked at our feedback (yours and mine). Now, I know no one is perfect, and I know for a fact some of my trades have taken longer than they should have because of my action (or inaction), but they always were completed. I know in some trades it was my trading partner who was slower. Life happens, as long as I'm kept aware of what's happening, it isn't held against the other party. Point is, you let me know it's going to be another couple days, weeks even, I'll still leave positive because you didn't try to hide. Don't send, don't e-mail, you'll get negative (at least from me). I think most of the people (especially the "seasoned" traders) will operate in the same manner.
Do the right thing, and you'll be fine.
