I use binders for all my cards, but I guess that makes more sense for me, since I only collect superheroes, star trek and james bond, for the most part and I don't have thousands upon thousands of sports cards like many of you guys do. I like being able to take out my cards and look at them, and Billy's stacked boxes would drive me crazy, as I would have to move everything around to get to what I want to see each time. Nothing against your methods, Billy, but that would drive me nuts.

One of the reasons I've been working on scanning them all is that I can look at them at any time, without having to actually get them out. I need help physically to get through them all due to my health problems. But to look through my scans? I can do that literally anywhere.
Forgot to mention. That is my NBA collection only. The set off to the side for the end is a mix of everything. But my NASCAR, non-sports and other sports are not in that photo.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. I remember you posted about this awhile ago. I love the idea and I'm going to use a shoe holder as a model when I build my shelving unit. I'm going to change the dimensions to hold 3,200 count boxes instead of shoes though ; )

I keep all my personal team and individual player collections in either boxes, binders, or in a display. If I could figure out how to post pictures I'd do it, but I don't know how.
And, Chad, if I could start a fund to eliminate the "j*** w**" term, I would!

I store all my Topps 1952-1979 Topps Cards in an old Library card catalog I bought years ago and refinished. Working on completing every Topps Base Set for those years (minus the '52 Mantle of course). I have completed sets from 1968 through 1979 and have anywhere from 10-300 cards from every other year so I have a long way to go.

I live in Korea and don't know when I will leave.. so at the moment most of my Korean sets are in binders. The players I collect and have with me are either in sleeves/toploaders or semi-rigids. I was going to submit many of my Korean cards for grading but PSA has nothing chepaer than $7 (100 card minimum) so Im not sure they will ever get graded.

That would be me! I always warn people storing in binders to lay them flat on their backs instead of standing them up like a book. I also warn about putting them on high shelves in wooden bookcases b/c they'll warp the shelf and eventually break it.
I have MOST of my collection in binders. I have six bookcases that have binders in them. Two are really tall, but only have cards on the bottom 2 shelves (all MLB). NFL is in a separate bookshelf that only has 2 shelves and the same for NBA. I have two 3-shelf bookcases that are all-metal. One is all my NASCAR collection. The other has all my Cardinals MLB cards and all my Panthers/Packers/Patriots NFL albums. I also keep blank pages and empty binders on there, as well as bubble mailers and packing tape. I'll eventually have to move the BM's to make room for more cards. I can't fit another binder on my NASCAR bookcase, so if I start a new one it will have to go there.
