That's just the Browse, not the same as a search. Besides, you can't browse for inserts without a ton of clicking through each set. If someone types Golden Gloves in the search box, it would be nice to get a list of Golden Gloves sets returned as search results without already having to know where they are. Billy Kingsley wrote: That already
exists, in the top

selection. You do
have to choose
which subject you
want to search for,
so it may take
several searches if
you need to check
and see if it is a
multi-sport set. |

The following fields have been added for Names:
Full Name
Alias (for matching on checklist imports)
Birth City
Birth State/Province
Birth Country
College
Date of Death
These fields can be edited by visiting the person’s page in the spot previously used for adding Date of Births. Editing this info requires Level 3 permissions. (Example layout)
For Non-Sport names, there is also a "Fictional" field that can be edited. Setting it to "Y" will suppress some of the fields and should be used for characters who don't actually exist in our realm of reality.
Thanks to Gunny, holhoa96, C2Cigars, DaClyde, and Billy Kingsley for suggesting these new fields. More functionality using these new fields to come in the near future.
When editing names associated with cards, there is now the option to clear the associated links or not. There is also the option to add links without having to rename the card and the option to remove links. This should help solve some of the issues with assigning multiple names to one card.

Ohhhh, if this means what I think it means, I am the happiest man in the world right now. Let me look over this alias thing and I may cry tears of joy!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I had to leave for a Super Bowl party right after typing my last post, but Ranford, it appears to me that you could go to, from one of your earlier examples, Frank Musil, enter Frantisek Musil as an alias, and all those Frantisek cards will go there automatically. At least that's the way I think it works after trying it on a couple wrestlers.

A new section has been added to the FAQ dealing entirely with "Names" in an attempt to demystify the process. Some of the things covered include PID's, how to add a new name, how to link multiple names to a single card, how to combine names, and how to separate names when people with the same name are listed together:
