One of the reasons some sellers don't ship to PO Boxes on ebay is because they use Fed Ex and FedEx doesn't deliver to PO Boxes. I just went around and round with FedEx about this very subject, thats how I know.

@billkingsley is the option of giving your PO BOX address to UPS available. I did it some years ago (like 20 yrs) if they got a PO BOX address package they had you home address on fill to redirect package too.
And Fed Ex Some shippers use Fed Ex to get packages to area and then use the post office to finish it. I have tracked packages in FED EX and saw it delivered to shipping partner and next day I get it by USPS
Fed Ex came a long way from leasing EASTERN AIRLINES planes at night to get parcels to Memphis, TN and Eastern sold seats for $99 to any where as long as you knew no checked luggage and you going thru Memphis. and you might be there for 7 hrs. The packages and passenger would off load, get sorted, and would change planes there.

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards

There are several shipping options that are available. UPS and FedEx both have services available that have the USPS deliver the item 9which allows the use of PO boxes. UPS and FedEx deliver directly to homes and businesses, and cannot put items in PO boxes. So, please understand why these carriers cannot use PO boxes. There are places that provide boxes that you can rent, and they act like PO boxes, but are not controlled by the PO, but the private business. UPS and FedEx can deliver to those establishments. Usually, those have more traditional style addresses anyway (123 Main Street, #36), so all UPS/FedEx has to do is deliver to 123 Main Street and the business will put it in box #36.
I realize that some people do not like giving out their home address for security reasons (or whatever reasons) and that is why they use PO boxes. (I use one myself.) But because it's a USPS box, only the USPS can use it, and the USPS will only put items in it if they are "paid" to do so.

Where I used to live the only option was a PO Box at the Post Office.. Northern Ontario towns did not have to the door delivery..

Right, but you still have an actual street address that UPS or FedEx could use to deliver something to your residence, correct? Just like you have an actual address should you need an ambulance or a fire truck to arrive in case of an emergency. You wouldn't give them your PO box address if you were bleeding.
Edit: Additionally, you wouldn't give your PO box if you were having a living room set delivered. UPS and FedEx operate the same way as those type of delivery companies. (I re-read the original and it seemed a bit drastic, but I find it fascinating [even frustrating] that so many people can't understand why UPS cannot deliver to their PO box.)

Yeah I do vrooomed but it is so confusing I can't even remember it (I'm lying actually lol) I use a legal land description for my passport and such but for an ambulance they would prefer road numbers, sadly those I have never been good at. I was always taught the hillbilly names for them, like I live east on the 4 mile and north on the school road. Yup its banjo time. =)

But you do understand how giving your PO box address to UPS or FedEx won't work? It's like going into Costco and asking if they carry "Equate" branded items.
