Baseball is down to 62 sets. 38 are the Donruss Prime Patches insert sets. The glossary items are the abbreviations for the memorabilia on the card, which can be two, three or four items. Is there an easy way to fix terms such as B-BG-FG-SH, FG-H-J-SH, CP-FG-SG-SH etc. If so baseball will be down to 24. Any ideas?

Change them all to "MEM". That type of minutia isn't needed in the Note. The specific MEM can be added to Note2.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I'd suggest this:
1. change the dash "-" to comma space ", ". That will separate the items.
2. change the current entries to the more common glossary terms, e.g., J=JSY; B=BAT; FG=FLGGLV, etc. (this step is optional, but it makes sense for consistency of the database).
3. define the new glossary terms.
4. delete the original combined entries.
How does that sound?

I am with C2 on this one. Most do not have images, so it could be a guess sometimes as to what was meant by a particular abbreviation. Also, that is a LOT of dashes changed to commas. However I am open to alternatives. If the consensus is MEM, I will work on them then. Thanks.
I can edit these sets by finding all "-"and replacing them with a ",". This knocks down the glossary terms to a few. It can be done.... But still a lot!

It is a lot of dashes, but you can still change them all at one time. I think that''s quicker than moving these items one card at a time to note 2, and if you leave them the way they are now, they're don't seem to be particularly helpful, but that's just me.

If possible, let's get the mem info moved into Note 2 (I just did that with the 2006 Triple Threads sets). I actually have some "copy/paste/excel formula" ways of getting that info over. It takes a little time, but not too bad. But yes, the Note field itself should be MEM, SNxx, AU type info. If the set is Game-Used Jerseys, then JSY is appropriate also. But what happened with these sets is the info from Beckett was just copied right over into our checklists.
We're down to 422 sets missing glossary entries. 422!!!!! Almost there!

Are we seriously below 200 sets total in three categories?

Seriously.
11 categories are at ZERO.
Three categories left: Basketball, Football, & Hockey - with 45, 3, & 139 left, respectively. Total: 187 remaining.
And I remember it like yesterday when baseball alone was over 7,000!! (It was more like a year ago.)

There are only 11 sets left. They are all in Hockey. I got some, but those last sets are confusing. After these are done, then on to the names section!
