Haha! Not in this case...of course, it doesn't help that in some cases I can't remember if I counted certain cards...I don't think I counted my oversize cards, but I can't be sure. I don't want to recount them in case I did when I got them...when I finish scanning everything I will do a major resort and recount, and my sets will be all together for the first time since 2004. I'm looking forward to it! But it won't be until about 2021 or later.

I'm amazed by some of those 30-day stats. I can do about 25-30 scans in an hour, meaning I'm accumulating a little less than 100 points per hour. And I can't do it for much more than an hour at a time before the repetitive mouse movements associated with cropping start to bother my wrist.

And then I see someone with 30,000+ points in 30 days. I'd have to quite my job and put in 12-hour days here to hit that!

But we appreciate those 100 pts you've earned, and the thousands that other did so we can benefit from them.

I was simply curious about why no collection, that's all.

I was wondering if there was an export to csv function too.  At least you can go to your collection and click print.  This creates a .pdf of your collection you can download or print.

There are no plans to allow exporting of data

BigEd76: That's a mistake in my opinion. PDF export is OK, but CSV export would open the door to a lot more fun uses of the TCDB. As it stands there's no reason for new users to invest in this platform, might as well use one with an open data policy.

What trading card database web site has an open data policy?

What purpose would that serve the web site if you didn't keep navigating to it? There are reasons the Admin has not implemented it.

I do, however, wish for an import feature for collection/wantlist/FS collection info. I've even propsed a few methods, but nothing.

We have over 60,000 members, so there must be some reason.

I wish every member did, because I think it's facinating to see the stats for how many cards are listed in collections here. But, I think I understand why they don't, because it takes plenty of time to input a large collection accurately.

I found the site in June 2020 when I ended a long hiatus from card collecting. I took out all of my cards out of my home office closet and spread out boxes, albums and loose cards in the guest room. One way or another, I was going to figure out whether I should sell off my collection, keep it, or keep it and continue to collect. Either way, everything should be catalogued. Looking online for cataloguing help, I found one site, but it didn't list everything I had, so I searched again and found this terrific site.

It took plenty of work over several weekends to get all of my collection listed and double-checked. At times, it was a bit tedious, but it was good for me to lay my hands on every single card I owned. It rejuvenated my love of the hobby. I've kept my all of my old cards and begun adding lots of modern cards, too.

The guest room is clear, but visitors do think it's pretty cool to see albums and card boxes on a couple of new bookcases along one side of the wall. There's only one rule: if you want to look, that's fine, but please let me pull out anything you want to see and handle it for you. (The really valuable old cards are locked in my home office.) 

People aren't offering their time to help build and correct a database just for users to do a dump of several million records and take that data elsewhere. That's not what this site is for.
