During Vic Sorrell's last 8 seasons (1930-1937), he was on the same Tigers team as the 3rd pitcher who almost threw a perfect game.

I couldn't answer any part of that Tigers-specific question, so I didn't even try. I don't want to see this thread stop running though. It's been fun and I hope it continues for a long time!
