Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Always looking for Blackhawk hockey, Notre Dame Football, White Sox and Bears Stuff. I have a plaque in my card room that says, "I could have been a millionaire but my mom threw out my baseball cards". How apropos!!! Collecting Chicago Blackhawks Hockey, Doug Wilson Hockey, Chicago Bears Older, Notre Dame Football in their college jerseys and Chicago White Sox.

I like both kinds of music. Country AND Western.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I like various styles of music. However my main musical interest is Hip Hop. Specifically I enjoy the 90's and early 00's west coast style (Dr. Dre related music), and I enjoy 90's stye East Coast like Wu Tang, Nas, etc. I also am a fan of the lesser known underground style artists like Jedi Mind Tricks, RA the Rugged Man, and Canibus.
I usually listen to music only in the car, and most of the time I am with my son who is 5 so I don't even really listen to much hip hop anymore though. So I am usually listening to the rock station now mainly. My son does love Will Smith's music and that is age appropriate so I think I have listened to his greatest hits album more than anything I have ever listened to in my life because he is obsessed with it. I don't know how much more Fresh Prince I can handle.
I also love Nu-Metal for better or worse. Nobody seems to actually like this music, and is often ridiculed. But I love the sound of it.
I also enjoy newer metal as well. You mentioned Five Finger Death punch so whatever that genre is I like that as well.
There is also something about 80s pop music that I like. That 80s movie montage type music.
I think I can pretty much find something in any genre that I will end up liking somewhat.

I listen to so much more than metal too. I am a big fan of 70s and 80s country music as well as 80s music in general. There are a few modern country guys I enjoy (Chris Staleton, Jamey Johnson, Cory Marks)

I have lots of musical tastes I'm all over the place. Mostly though I like Classic Rock, Rock that follows the style of Classic Rock and some Pop Rock.
All Time Faves Musical Artists include: Pat Benatar, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Harry Chapin, The Bangles, Kate Bush, Queen and a few others.
Back in the late 1980s when I was making a bunch of mix tapes, before I had a second turntable and mixer to make smooth segues I had to do the pause thing, One of my favorite segues I did was going from "Gee Officer Krupke" from the musical "West Side Story" to Madonna's "Material Girl". I got it perfectly so that the opening drum beat from "Material Girl" cames right after the final singing/shouting lyrics "Krup You!" It is pretty impressive for using the pause technique instead of real segue mixing.

I collect: Baseball, Football, Hockey, Mostly Vintage pre1980, My Homie teams - Washington/Baltimore Teams Senators (Twins, Rangers), Expos/Nationals, Redskins, Capitals, Bullets/Wizards - HOFers - Non-sport (mostly TV shows and movies). My Trade List is very much a work in progress CaptKirk42s Trading Card Blog Curly W Cards Strive For '65 YouTube klandersen42
