Dodgers and Astros. Dodgers win it all. Being a Phillies fan, I'm rooting for Chase Utley.

The D-backs have to abuse so many more teams to get to where the Dodgers are at though. The entire NL has looked weak overall when compared to the Dodgers and the AL is much closer with the top teams. IF Arizona gets a Series against the Dodgers in the playoffs, they COULD beat them. But who would they face after that? They would probably be able to beat the Cubs or Nationals IF they get through LAD first. If they face either team first and THEN have to face the Dodgers, they are spent and the Dodgers win. IF Arizona manges to win the NL pennant, then there is a good chance that they lose in the WS to Houston, Cleveland or Boston. I guess I haven't paid enough attention to the full MLB season b/c I don't know how Boston that good this year. They were terrible last year.
IMO, Houston and Cleveland are clearly the best AL teams this year and the Dodgers are easily the best NL team. The Nationals are decent (as are the Red Sox), but what happened to the NL Central? The dealings against each other screwed every team in that division. The Cubs and Brewers are mediocre, the Cardinals have flopped b/c of injuries and the Pirates have been flat all season. The Reds have been insignificant for several years now and can't even contend to stay out of the basement of the division. I also want to know what destroyed the Royals and Rangers in the past few seasons. Even my local Appy League RC-level affiliate team for the Royals can't make the PO's anymore. The Rangers aren't even in consideration for a PO spot but why? Where did all their players go?

I guess we now know why Boston is doing as well as they are this year.

Just another reason to despise that organization.

Just as I said nearly 2 months ago (and two others said just before me):
Astros vs. Dodgers for the 2017 World Series
I still can't believe the Yankees knocked off the Indians and nearly beat the Astros too!

Unfortunately I was one of the two that got it right. Like I said two months ago, I'd love to see the Yahnks, but they weren't quite ready to take that step. I really was hoping I had it wrong, but alas, Astros v. Dodgers. It will be a great series and as a baseball fan, I am real excited for it, but as a Yankee fan, I go to bed sad tonight.

At least your team made it INTO the Playoffs! My Cardinals were pretty much out by the A-S break. Mathematically they weren't, but the Cubs finally got it together and stayed just far enough ahead of STL and MIL to clinch the division. I knew that no team from the NL Central could get to the WS this year! Those teams really need to stop cannabalizing each other! The Cubs/Cards/Brewers/Pirates keep stealing the best offensive and/or defensive players from each team every year now. They are all sinking the division. They should be stealing the best FA's in the other divisions, not battling for one spot in the PO's!

I had it right though I had left it as Dodgers or Cubs. I still think Astros will take it.
