Any idea why it would be listed NNO1-NNO30 when there are no Numbers?

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

Because there are some members who incorrectly think this is an acceptable numbering system.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

bkklaos - if they are unnumbered than every card in the set is assigned the number NNO. I personally like it when they are listed alphabetically when they are all NNOs.

Actually, I have asked admin about NNO'd sets. For individual insert or promo cards, just simply NNO is the correct way to number them. However, according to admin, a set with multiple cards that don't have numbers should be assigned NNO1-NNO whatever the last number would be. So, in short, that's how admin says NNO sets should be listed. However, they don't suggest any way to decide what NNO number to assign to what card. I guess that part is up to however puts up the checklist.

Where are you getting that from? The FAQ says NNO period. So do the Guidelines in the Permission section.

I actually messaged admin through contact us and that was what their response to me was. Maybe they have changed their mind since then because that was almost 2 years ago that I asked them, but as of then, that was what I was told directly from admin.

More recently they have expressed a distinct desire to match the cards. A card that has no number on it cannot be found looking for NNO when it's in the db as NNO8.
Any card that does not have a number is simply and strictly NNO.

For some reason the code required the numbering at one point, if I recall correctly.

I did that LONG ago when I first started. I was a rookie and figured I knew something and was dead wrong. Sorry about that avs there will be a few like that. I stopped when I got schooled but did not remember all the sets I had entered. Now I shall read the entire thread. Again that one was one me. =(
