1993-94 Topps Finest "Base" Set:

The premier edition of the 1993-94 Finest basketball set (produced by Topps) contains 220 standard-size cards. The set is comprised of 180 player cards and a 40-card subset of ten of the best players in each of the four divisions as follows: Atlantic (90-99), Central (100-109), Midwest (110-119), and Pacific (120-129). These subset cards are commonly referred to as "brick" cards due to their brick wall background design. The seven-card packs (24 per box) included six player cards plus one subset card and had a suggested retail price of 3.99. Topps also issued a 14-card jumbo pack for 7.99, which included 11 regulars, two subsets, and a jumbo-only Main Attraction chase card. Packs hit the market upon release well above the aforementioned prices. The rainbow colored metallic front features a color action cutout on a metallic marble background. The white bordered back features a color player cutout on the left inset in a marble textured background. Rookie Cards of note include Vin Baker, Anfernee Hardaway, Jamal Mashburn and Chris Webber.

1993-94 Topps Refractors:

This set of Refractor cards parallels that of the 220-card Finest set. Information provided by Topps indicated the cards were randomly inserted at a rate of one in every nine seven-card packs and one in approximately four 14-card jumbo packs. However, widespread evidence indicates the cards are easier to obtain. In addition, a good amount of the cards were included in retail "re-packs" at chains like Wal-Mart and Sams. The only difference in design to the basic cards is refracting foil that creates a glossy shine to the card fronts when held under light.

Several cards are short printed, hence the "SP" designation.
