201 - Alex Gonzalez - Toronto Blue Jays |
||
Alex possessed one of the best low center of gravity swings ever in baseball and this card shows why and how. |
220 - Fernando Tatis HL - St. Louis Cardinals2 Grand Slams in 1 Inning |
|
239 - Wade Boggs MM, VAR - Tampa Bay Devil RaysVAR: 1983 Batting Title |
||
Topps Wade Boggs card celebrating a 1983 Batting Title…while showing him 17 years later, wearing a Tampa Bay DEVIL Rays uniform? First off, Topps was lazy. Second, these cards were kinda boring and pointless as a sub series within the set. And finally, the Tampa Bay Rays no longer go by the Devil Rays in the old name they started with. People complained like morons and groups from outside organizations who probably don’t even watch baseball or live in Florida created enough pressure and so the ownership felt compelled to change the name after the 2007 season. That’s just dumb. |
314 - John Rocker UER - Atlanta BravesUER: Showing 54 losses in 1995 |

Poor Johnny…what a POS….too bad because he was decent and could have been even better. But ego and dead education sent him to the fast track of doom. No amount of good baseball can fix what’s wrong with this man.

463 - Mark McGwire / Manny Ramirez LL - St. Louis Cardinals / Cleveland Indians |

Which player used more PED’s is what this cards headliner should be. |
