Down Goes Brown's Obscure Former Players of the Week by Howintensive Last updated on Dec 9, 2015 My favorite hockey blogger is Sean McIndoe from Down Goes Brown and Grantland. Every Friday he does an NHL Grab Bag- sort of a week in review in the world of hockey. He includes sections like "What is the Hockey World Pretending to be Outraged About Now," "Awesome and/or Horrific Old YouTube Clip of the Week," and "What has Don Cherry Gone and Done Now?" My favorite section is the "Obscure Former Player of the Week" section. I did a complete history and analysis of it for him here:

http://www.downgoesbrown.com/2014/05/a-complete-history-of-obscure-former.html I ultimately want to own a card of every obscure former player. The guys from the '40s will definitely be tough, though.

WWE Divas Champions by bigmeat Last updated on Sep 27, 2015 This is a list of WWE Divas Champions (in order of first championship win) that I have cards for. It turns out that I have a card for all of them except the newest one, Charlotte. I was surprised I didn't get any of her NXT cards. I'm sure that having a Charlotte card will change next year when the 2016 cards come out. This is my first list and if this goes well, I plan on making more.

My St. Louis Cardinals Autographs by ShoTime Last updated on Jun 27, 2015 Every year in my area of Illinois, the Cardinal Caravan comes around. Growing up, it was the best part of a bleak January when 1-2 Cardinal players would come to the Quincy Mall for an autograph session. The following are cards I had autographed from 1993-96, when I actually attended these.

My Jersey Cards by Dixxy Last updated on Mar 7, 2015 Many don't appreciate Game Worn Memorabilia cards for good reason. Overproduction, money grabs, too many variations, I still have a soft spot for them ever since my first Jersey card pull from a 2000-2001 Vanguard pack. Here's the list from the first to the last as best as I can remember.

Alex Gordon by OKJefe Last updated on Mar 6, 2015 My modern day player. He will never replace Brett as my favorite player but as a former 3rd baseman he has come into his own and won me over as a true fan and my current favorite player on the field today. Fear the Beard!

BO Jackson by OKJefe Last updated on Mar 5, 2015 BO Knows. Having always been astounded by the sheer physicality of this man I was baffled to hear a recent interview on AM610 in KC that Bo said he didn't lift weights on a regular basis and was just naturally physically gifted. Truth or tall tails I will never forget the first time I heard his bat crack on a homerun hit in person. I'm a true fan and have the up most respect for this man as he continues today to do so much for charity and the youngsters he has the opportunity to influence and help. A true modern day athletic role model. BO Knows Baseball!

My Top 10 Favorite George Brett 1994-2010 Cards (That I Own) by midbellman Last updated on Mar 3, 2015 It's been way to long…Over a month since my last list. I have been busy in the last month and I am proud to announce that I have a new website that I am designing - http://georgebrettcards.weebly.com/. I also started a Facebook page - www.facebook.com/gbcardguy and you can find me at twitter - @gbcardguy. I am very new to the social media, so it will probably be pretty awkward at the beginning. One of the cool things about my site is that I show a lot of variation cards. Anyway, this top ten list is all about the after retirement cards for George Brett. I do not generally seek these cards as much as I do cards from when Brett was playing, but I have a decent amount. It's funny, of all the George Brett cards that are available, only about 18% of them are from his playing day. Of all the Brett cards in my collection about 18% of them are after retirement cards, one of those quirky coincidences. As with all of my top ten lists it is solely based on my opinion and limited to cards that I own that are listed on tradingcarddb. Hopefully you enjoy it and feel free to comment.

My Top 10 Favorite George Brett 1991-1993 Cards (That I Own) by midbellman Last updated on Jan 26, 2015 I just realized it's been 21 days since my last top ten list. January has been a busy month and it doesn't seem to be slowing down at all. This time era of George Brett cards finishes out his career. So there are many retrospect cards along with his regular cards. As with all of my top ten lists it is solely based on my opinion and limited to cards that I own that are listed on tradingcarddb. Hopefully you enjoy it and feel free to comment.

My Top 10 Favorite Frank White Cards (That I Own) by midbellman Last updated on Jan 5, 2015 You couldn't be a Royals fan during the 80's without being a fan of Frank White. Never had Hall of Fame numbers, offensively speaking, but defensively there were not many that were better. As with all of my top ten lists it is solely based on my opinion and limited to cards that I own that are listed on tradingcarddb. Hopefully you enjoy it and feel free to comment.

My Top 10 Favorite George Brett 1988-1990 Cards (That I Own) by midbellman Last updated on Jan 2, 2015 This era is special to me because this is when I started collecting cards. It started when I was in the 4th grade and I got a couple of packs of Fleer basketball cards for our class Christmas party. I still have a few of those cards. Shortly after that I started with baseball and it was a huge part of my life at that time at that time. As with all of my top ten lists it is solely based on my opinion and limited to cards that I own that are listed on tradingcarddb. Hopefully you enjoy it and feel free to comment.

My Top 10 Favorite Bret Saberhagen Cards (That I Own) by midbellman Last updated on Dec 29, 2014 Just so you don't think that I only collect George Brett and Bo Jackson Cards. I felt it is time to bring some other Royals to the forefront. Bret Saberhagen was a stud pitcher having a career spanning 15 years. Didn't have hall of fame numbers, but he was a go to pitcher. Not many pitcher could pitch a shutout in a game 7 of the World Series and he did it his rookie season. As with all of my top ten lists it is solely based on my opinion and limited to cards that I own that are listed on tradingcarddb. Hopefully you enjoy it and feel free to comment.

My Top 10 Favorite George Brett 1986-1987 Cards (That I Own) by midbellman Last updated on Dec 25, 2014 It is now officially Christmas and I can't seem to fall asleep. It is kind of like when I was a kid. I'm sitting at my desk wondering what to do and I decided to do another Top Ten List since I haven't done one for a while. On this list I am only doing 2 years because it seems that there was an explosion of oddball, insert, & Broder cards. Heck, there are 20 different Fleer cards to choose from, surprisingly none made this list. As with all of my top ten lists it is solely based on my opinion and limited to cards that I own that are listed on tradingcarddb. Hopefully you enjoy it and feel free to comment.

My Top 10 Favorite George Brett 1983-1985 Cards (That I Own) by midbellman Last updated on Dec 20, 2014 This era leads up to the Royals winning World Series. One of their brightest moments in their history. Wish they could have pulled it off this year. Many cool cards came out during this time. I hope you enjoy this Top Ten as well as my other lists. If you haven't looked at them yet feel free to check them out and comment. As with all of my top ten's it is strictly based on my opinion and limited to cards that I own that are listed on tradingcarddb. Hopefully you enjoy it and feel free to comment.

THE COLLECTION..... by BOBSCARDZ Last updated on Dec 15, 2014 Hello,
I would like to introduce myself, my name is Bob [BOBSCARZ should have been BOBSCARDZ, oh well]. This is a fantastic site, with so many helpful members..Hats Off to everybody!. I'm only in a month, working hard to list my collection, I've received many messages already inquiring about trading. That is not a problem with me, I have decided to list as much as possible, 4 rooms worth of collectibles!. Please bear with me as I continue to update. I have so many cards, I need to enter them in a manner which is easy for me, and less time consuming. What I have in my collection may not be for sale/trade although listed as so, just easier on me and more for you to see. Keep writing, propose trades, let's keep it friendly. Your friend, Bob [BOBCARZ]

My Top 10 Favorite George Brett 1970s Cards (That I Own) by midbellman Last updated on Dec 13, 2014 I became a huge George Brett Fan when I was a child in the late 80s. For a 6th grader I thought I had a pretty good collection of his cards, about 13 cards, and the prize of my collection was an autographed team issued card. Unfortunately, this collection was stolen from me in middle school and I stopped collecting cards until about 4 years ago. After close to a twenty year hiatus I got started again. If you want to check out my collection feel free. This is my first list and I am hoping to do more if people like this one. This list is strictly my opinion and limited to cards that I own personally. Some of the cards pictured are from my collection. Without further ado, here are my top 10 favorite George Brett baseball cards that were issued in the 1970s.

Honorable mentions: 1979 Blair Barnes(1GP) 1987 Igor Vyazmikin(4GP) 1997 Jay Henderson(33GP) 2010 Zach Trotman(11GP) These players are not included because they didn't have any cards or cards with pictures. Strangely, Blair Barnes & Igor Vyazmikin both played less than 5 games and both passed away in their 40's.
