One of the premiere cards in this set. Cilly Aussem was a great tennis star. In 1931, she was the first German to win singles at Wimbledon. She also won singles in the French and German championships and won mixed doubles in the French championships. She was consistently ranked in the world's top ten players. In 1930 and 1931, she was ranked #2 just behind Helen Moody who is also featured in the Sanella Sports card set. (The number on the Type 1 and Type 3 cards is actually #6 not #3, as you can see from the picture of the reverse. Type 2 has no number.)
