Classic set, first set I ever completed and a Red Sox card. What else could you ask for.

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

The 1977s have grown on me in recent years.  I like 76 and 78 so much, but had very few 77s as a kid, so I kind of overlooked them.  Now I have several and like them a lot.

-------------------------------

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff.  Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

This is one of my favorite Topps sets.  The All-Star cards with that bold banner made my eyes spin as a kid.  Still do.  I think this was the best looking Tom Seaver card ever made.  Garvey and Carew as well.
