How hard is it to trade cards across sports here? I'm most interested in obtaining baseball cards in trade but have plenty of basketball, hockey and football cards I'm willing to part with. Is there a way to indicate that other than just putting up exclusively baseball wants and then adding all the other sports to FS/FT?

I think it all depends on who you are trading with. I haven't had any problems. I've traded baseball for hockey before. Once again it all depends on the person.

Probably pretty easy but you don't have any football, basketball or hockey in your for sale/trade list. I have interest in Packers or Bucks items.

I've got some Topps football refugees/survivors from when I was a kid late 60's early 70's. I decided to give collecting a better effort in 73-74 in all sports. So I've got nearly complete sets in '73 football, '73-'74 hockey and '74 baseball. I think I need about 10 cards to complete the '73 football set. I've probably got about 500 doubles from '73. Another pile from '74. Scattered chunks of cards from then through the mid 80's. Then some 80's/90's football. Lots of the first Pro Set football and Score. All in all 2 mostly full 5 row monster boxes of football. I suppose it would be nice to complete the '73 set and then beyond that I could easily trade away the rest.

Agreed, in fact I try to trade away my non-baseball first. - Mark

I need 14 cards to complete the '73 Topps Football set and I have close to 200 doubles. I need 44 cards to complete the '74 Topps football set.
I'm more than happy to trade baseball for any Topps football especially the sets from the '70s.

I cross-trade all the time. I have NHL and NBA that I don't really want (still need to add most of those to my FS/T list here) and then I also have MLB, NFL, and Racing that I'd rather trade for more of the same sports. My trades here are currently on hold b/c I have offers on another site to deal with first. But I'm always trading across all sports and even non-sports or multi-sport releases. You just need to find the right traders in some situations. The forums are always a good start though!

Always in the mood for trading whether it be like for like, or cross-sport just as long as both parties are happy that's the bottom line...(didn't I just quote "Steve Austin???")
