After reading his feedback there are two other IDs that I find very suspicious - HookedSince68 and jddavis84. My suspicions come from generalities in the use of hyperbolic verbiage in their feedback as if to focus specifically on the character that he himself destroyed initially. They are also there (my suspicions) because I have literally hundreds of matches with both those IDs and the only offers I've received are one card requests from jddavis84 (which I've rejected twice with a note asking to increase the number of cards in the deal to make it financially feasible - I hate trading for a card that is less than the cost of a stamp.) I've never gotten an offer from HookedSince68.
Shawn, I believe you tried to make amends, but rejected the longterm perseverance required to improve your reputation and are instead resorting to the shady tactics that got you to this place initially. The thing is you were getting genuinely positive feedback from members with great reputations - several of which I have dealt with on various sized trades - and looks like you've chosen to scheme to improve instead of working hard over time to erase our mistrust in you.

"I have made it right with everybody that I owed"
Incorrect.
Both dsorek and kcjays state, in this exact thread, that they both were burned by you without getting what they expected. BOTH OF THEM!
So, right there are 2 people who you did not "make right with". Additionally, dsorek actually named the other 3 IDs (that you have admitted to using in the past) that have terrible feedback because of how many people you completely fleeced.
I stayed very quiet about you, Shawn, during this calendar year. I gave you the room, the space, the time, to make your amends, to build up a good reputation. Unfortunately, it appears that you don't understand how to do things the correct way. I have tried to help you. I have offered advice, both publicly and privately. Apparently, it was ignored.
Please notice, no name calling, just simple stating of actual facts. Now, my opinion: I hate seeing things like this happen. I wish it wasn't so.

Shawn, I gave you the benefit of the doubt, I've tried to help and explain what to do here and on facebook, I befriended you on facebook....I don't understand how you continue to get yourself in bad situations. I thought as others have said, you've tried to improve your trading practices, but apparently not. This forum thread is an example of you getting "badmouthed" all over again. Even when you try and even send me cards or I decline, You don't get it, I'm very busy, I explained that to you.......Shawn, Why don't you listen to people trying to help you??? ~BOB~

In what I hope is the last word on this matter, I want everyone to know that I have communicated to Shawn that I will no longer be doing cards-for-feedback trades with him. I want to thank everyone who posted and helped me see how naive I was with regard to how this practice is seen in our community. Special thanks to dsorek for your warm welcome and encouragement and to spazmatastic for helping me see the light.
To sportscommish, it’s true I’ve gotten many match alerts from you and haven’t proposed any trades. It’s not because I don’t want to trade with you, I’d be glad to. It’s not because I don’t have any cards to trade. The truth is I have probably 100,000 to 200,000 doubles I’d love to trade/sell. The vast majority are in deep storage and I haven’t had time yet to dig them out and create a For Sale/Trade list. Since joining the site in March, I’ve been focusing my energies on trying to get as much of my collection cataloged as possible (56,000 cards logged and many more to go!). I think I’m going to use this experience as an incentive to at least create a small For Sale/Trade list so I can start doing some card-for-card trades. I’ve already made several purchase deals and recently traded a few Texas Ranger cards I had lying around for a ‘92 Score lot. Sportscommish, I hope you can be my next trading partner!

I'm willing to explore the possibility of a trade with you, HookedSince68. I have to admit, though, that I'm still skeptical about your identity due to Shawn's antics.
With whom did you just trade the Texas Rangers? I would like to confirm the deal because there's nothing showing on your "Completed Transactions", yet.
If you are indeed NOT Shawn, please accept my sincerest apologies for my skepticism.

Ok, my turn to toss a little gas onto the fire. I was offered a trade by Shawn awhile back during his earlier controversy. After debating, I made the one for one trade and it went off without a hitch. A very short time after it's completion, he offered another 1 for 1 trade. I declined as I had a few larger trades going at the time, that I was putting together. Then came another offer with the message "Why wont you trade with me?" I basically ignored him for awhile and he came back with another offer. I had no ther trades going so I said ok. This was October 5th. I have completed 4 other trades since his offer, but have not received his card yet. Now, reading these posts and the way he is trying to rack up positive feedback is causing me to reconsider ever trading with him again. Perhaps his quote " 2 million cards to much lol " does sum it up.
