Meanwhile, I physically WENT to Canada, sent a small bubble mailer within the province of Ontario (it was about 2 hours of a drive from Point A to Point B), and the package took from 7/5/19 to 7/24/19 to get there. 19 days!
One way to drive it would be 181 km (112 miles). For ease of calculating, since I dropped off the packe in the afternoon, and it arrived in the morning, let's say it took 18 full days (18x24 = 432 hours). It went at a pace of .26 mph (.42 kph), meaning I could have strapped it to the back of a turtle and it would have arrived there faster!
To be fair to Canada Post, I sent a second (larger) package to the other side of the country (almost) at the same time. That one was delivered on 7/15/19. 10 days - to go about 3000 km. That moved at about 12.5 kph. Strange!
