I think cell/smart phones have killed pocket schedules, at least in my area. This is my 3rd season in Chicago and I have never seen a pro sport pocket schedule. Last week I asked the clerk at a store that used to display Cubs schedules, and she said the Cubs are not doing that anymore. Same thing is happening across the board, no NBA, NHL, NFL, WS etc... pocket schedules. As an aside, cell phones have also killed the purchase and print ticket. Now when one purchases a Cubs ticket online you have to do call waiting or have a cell phone. Mementoes and scrapbookortunities are fading into a tech ether.
Anyway, with pocket schedules becoming a thing of the past, TCDB may want to reconsider their place in the database.

Alright, let's get to the "nitty gritty"...... and the reason for starting the post in the first place. EVERYBODY has ideas and interpretations.
Can a "member in the know" or maybe ADMIN, [who is really busy] put together a guide for non-card but acceptable ITEMS that can be listed in the TCDB to include:
Coins ~ Pins ~ Stamps ~ Schedules ~ Publications ~ Stickers ~ Postcards ~ Pennants ~ Insignias and so on [in case I missed anything]
Unless I missed this somewhere on site, A GUIDE to clarify all this would be very helpful.
Don't you think? ~BOB~

So, according to that guideline "Other collectibles that are inserted into packs or boxes of traditional trading cards...". I can think of a few items that weren't inserted in trading card packs, they were a separately packaged product. Topps Bucks, some of the Topps Coins, lapel pins. Either that guideline is still incomplete or a lot of listed items need to be removed.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

That would be a topic to take up with Admin.
I'm sure if someone was to take the initiative to enhance any of the FAQ points, Admin would welcome it and would most liely use it (completely or in part) to update the on-site FAQ. Pardon the expression, but bitching about these things in the forums isn't going to change anything. We saw that with the Glossary issues we encountered. We had a thread going for months, and nothing got done. A document was worked on by a few members, submitted to Admin, and it's now in the FAQ. These repeated posts about what's allowed and what's not is growing tiresome. Think a set shouldn't belong, report it. We'll pass it up to Admin and see if it gets deleted. I did that a couple weeks back - I saw a couple sets that looked a bit suspicious. The report is gone, and the sets are still here. Guess I was wrong on those. Maybe I wasn't, but Admin wants those sets here. OK.

Would need to find them, but I believe 2015 or 2016. When did they win the series?
