Did you add them to your cart or buy now? If you just added them to your cart, you have not actually bought them yet. Somebody else could come along and buy them outright before you ship them. I learned that the hard way because when I was first using the site, I was adding to cart, and I lost a card because somebody came along and bought it.

so did you log in, or no?
I think the buying experience acts differently for a guest user one time buyer that does not create an account and log in

Depending on the page you were looking at when you tried to buy the cards, you had three or four choices of buttons: "Make Offer", "Add To Cart"' and "Buy Now" or "Purchase Now" and "Purchase and Relist".
It looks like you chose "Add To Cart", which is the only one you don't want if you are using store credit. A shopping cart purchase means you will pay for the cards and shipping and they will be sent out right away. Any of the other choices will add the card to your inventory (assuming that your offer is accepted in the case of "Make Offer") where you can choose to flip it by setting a sale price, or hold on to it for later shipment by marking it "not for sale".
If you go back to each card and choose "Buy Now", the card will come out of your shopping cart and go into your inventory.

Yes ,I'm logged in.
When I shop comc I've always put them in my cart first then adjust to my final choices. The other six are in my account ready to be shipped when I request. I went through that same process.
I realize just being in my cart they can be snatched from me, but that's not my problem here. I'm trying to see if I need to request a refund or can I just add to my order without additional shipping?

If you pay with store credit you will not be charged the shipping fee.

I would check in with their customer service. I've contacted them a few times and they have always been able to fix whatever the issue was to my satisfaction.

I seem to recall a few years back on one of my few COMC orders getting charged shipping when I first ordered the cards, but held onto them for about a week or two then got charged shipping when they actually shipped. That was some years ago and before their massive website overhaul change a few years back to avoid more legal trouble with the Mighty "B"

Ok, so the problem seemed to be my way of buying at the site. I emptied the cart and resubmitted the card as a "Buy Now", and then I was given the option to add it to the original order or flip it. That kept the shipping charge off the books and it allows me to use more of the amount on cards.
Thanks for the help guys.
