...You save whatever comes in or on cereal boxes (other food packaging), whether it's someone or a sport you care about or not.
...When someone mentions a year, and the first thing that pops in your mind is the card set (or sets) that was issued that year (I actually don't do this, unless the topic is that sport, otherwise when a year is mentioned, I have album releases pop in my head).
...You wash you hands, dry them, then still wait 2 - 3 minutes (so they fully dry) before opening a box of new cards.
Yes, guilty of 1 and 3. :) To a huge degree.

Yes, for baseball, but he also said all sports AND non-sports. So, quite a few...

I think you missed the part where he said across all sports and non sports.

When your Christmas list consists of only Top Loaders, Penny Sleeves, Bubble Mailers and storage boxes. Or you use the excuse of walking the dogs so you can slowly sneak in boxes of cards from the 90 box lot you just scored so the wife doesn’t see them and start asking questions 😉lol

I went the quick route on that one. My Christmas List had a line that said:
* Gift cards/certificates to dacardworld.com (need shipping/storage supplies)
I figured that wording makes some think I'm trying to sell stuff. I am, but not as much as I also need more storage supplies.

That's just baseball, Dan! I didn't say anything about baseball!!
EDIT: I guess this was already covered, while I was sleeping!

Started in 1951, one set a year ever since. Since you're not counting update/trade sets, math is actually pretty easy on that one. :)
2019 will be the 69th set (unless you don't count the Blue Backs / Red Backs for 1951, then this will be the 68th).
Getting 68 or 69 cards doesn't sound too tough. And depending on how sensitive you are to condition, it could be real easy.

No, I plan to add one needed base card from every flagship Topps set to my collection next year, across all sports and non-sport. Not Stadium Club or Gypsy Queen or anything. Not parallels or inserts. Just pack-released regular Topps card sets. It's daunting because I have no idea how many sets this involves. And I'm cramming to get my Topps collection entered here by the 23rd.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
