Similar to a thought I had. Fot those who are good do it yourselfers make a cardboard frame from those blank decoy cards. (same idea as the fancy plastic frames around A&G mini autos and relic cards except plain cardboard) Got to be good with an exacto knife though. The idea is to make a frame using the decoy and then put the mini inside the frame and put inside a penny sleeve.
I haven't tried this idea it is just something I thought about that might work.

I dislike minis. I don't like dealing with them. So I pretty much give them away

I agree with the tobacco size pages, look great when cards are in but if you have to take them out for any reason it is a chore.
That being said it is what I use.

I think most of us either feel this way, or the exact opposite. Not much middle ground when it comes to minis, from what I've read on many forums and posts. I don't care for them myself, because storage is a pain (as is being discussed). I can't stand overly thick cards for the same reason - I'm a big believer that cards are meant to be enjoyed, so pages and binders are my preferred storage method, and thick or mini cards make this difficult.
If it's not a PC guy of mine or a Reds mini, I'll probably be sending it to someone at some point.
That being said, I cannot add any insight into storage methods, but this is the first time I've heard that negative point about the tobacco-sized pages. I've heard of several people using them, but never really heard any reviews. When I start paging my Reds collection sometime this year, I'll probably order some, and now I know that once I put them in place to avoid trying to take them out!

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

If you can find pages used to keep business cards, they work quite well.

I have a box of tobacco pages I can send you if you are interested. I bought them, opened them, and didn't like them so didn't use them.

I actually really like the way you have them in that 2-piece holder. I'll have to look into that.

I dont mind the tobacco sheets. Just dont push the card all the way in and they're not hard to get out. The pocket is much longer than the card so it's still fully protected .

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
