Interesting article for sure... Noticed back in the day he was listed on his card at 5'10" and 125 lbs. A good breeze would blow him over. Also the photos are amazing and can you believe Topps actually donated him the gum do go with the packs. I wonder if there are any packs still available today.

Complete set pricing is a bit off, $15k in the article, $3k on eBay.

A reprint set sold for $120. I didn't find anything that sold individually for less than $20. So about $3K for an original set sounds right.

Very cool article.
And just for the record - upon high school graduation, I was 6' 0" and weighed 120 lbs (soaking wet). I never blew over.

And people at home thought I was skinny at 6', 150 lbs when I joined the military (18 years old)
