I bought a Retail Box of 2015 Score Football from Dave and Adams. 24 packs, 12 cards per pack. Interestingly enough, I got through the entire box and there were 3 teams I got no cards for toward the base set.
A couple months later I bought another because I still needed a lot for the set. Opened that box and guess what. I still don't have a single Dallas Cowboy from the base set. Now, I am not a Cowboy collector, I am just amazed I can open 46 packs of a 12 card per pack get and have a team where I do not get a single card. I was more amazed since it was a team that is in the national spotlight.
Just an observation I thought I would share. Thought it was interesting.

The 1st 2 jumbo packs of score football I bought this year, had the exact same inserts in both packs. The base cards were all different, but the 5 or 6 inserts, whatever a jumbo has, were the exact same cards.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Interesting topic I opened a box of jumbos last night, 12 in the box. No double inserts but the packs say an average of one insert per pack, this must also mean you might not get any. I got 7 inserts total.

I thought I heard on time that there was such a thing as regional releases of boxes. For example, boxes sent to dealers on the east coast would have more cards from the east coast teams and less from others? I may have just drempt that though!

That is actually true. I don't know if it's still done today, but I know the manufacturers did that in the 2000's and some did in the 90's too.

sometimes i think the random insert of cards aren't so random.. i cracked 2 boxes of a donruss signature series once-- (5 cards per box) and got 3 of the same rookie auto.. a crappy rookie at that and 2 another, one base and one SN'd.. neverless , i lost big time on that one

I bought 2 boxes of 2016 Score Football in the middle of last year from Steel City. They were almost identical.

Retail Panini tends to be pretty bad. I've bought a lot of 2018 Score and and I ended up with a lot of duplicates without being close to completing the set
