I wish Topps would still make football cards. Panini seems to be over doing it with the inset of an insert and the multiple sets with multiple inserts. I also miss Fleer with baseball, there was the main set, an update set and the small sub sets.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

That is what I was thinking. The gum in a pack of Topps. Or maybe just the smell of it could be added to the wrappers. I always thought they missed out in not added it to the anniversary years.

I'm with you on this. I loved the material they made the cards from. Not quite acetate and so much more than cardboard.
