I pulled this Travis Shaw auto last night from a fat pack from Walmart. 2019 Topps Postseason Performance Autographs red parallel #15/25. I was a fan of Shaw when he played in Boston but I didn't keep up with him much after he was traded- super excited about this card nonetheless. My first auto overall was a Trey Mancini one from Topps Archives but this is the first one I've actually pulled from a regular pack.
Who was the first autograph card you pulled?

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Congratulations! I don't remember the first I pulled. It was probably one of the 1996-97 Autographics NBA cards. I know the first one I got- Chris Childs- but I can't remember anymore if I pulled it or got it at a card show, which we had pretty much weekly back then.
I know that I got my first autograph in 1994, Steve Grissom and Joe Nemechek from the 1994 Maxx Rookie of the Year contenders insert parallel. I got them at a shop though, did not pull them myself.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. My 1st pack-pulled AU was of NFL draftee Moreno Philyaw from the 2000 Fleer Autographics set. He never made a name for himself and I owned that card for over a decade before I was able to trade it. My 1st pack-pulled NASCAR AU card was of Jeff Green in 2007 and he still races today (mostly in the Xfinity Series now) and my 2nd pack-pulled NASCAR AU card was his brother Mike Green a few months later. All three cards came from retail packs or blasters! 2007 was when I actually started to be able to buy hobby boxes and the AU's came in a hurry after that in a few sports. My first hobby box AU card was NASCAR's Kasey Kahne from 2007 Press Pass Eclipse. I have no idea who was my 1st pack-pulled MLB AU anymore but it was definitely from 2008 Finest or SPx.
I've never pulled an AU card from any other sports or non-sports products outside of MLB/NFL/NASCAR though.

Congratulations!
I think the first autograph I ever pulled from a pack was Adam Oates from 1997-98 Pinnacle Be A Player.

~Rob~ Hockey set collector including inserts, ERR, COR, VAR. Knowledgeable about 1968-69 to 1994-95 hockey. All 1990 and newer cards for trade are NRMT. Expect the same in return. 1989 and older are assigned a grade. Everything on my trade list is available for sale. Reasonable prices based on condition. If it's not on my tradelist, it's not available.

That’s awesome! I can’t remember my first pack-pulled auto, sure it was from the LCS.

Lance Berkman from a 2004 Topps hobby box. I still have it but would sell or trade it away.
