Hi Everyone!

So I'm new to Trading Card Database but I have a ton of cards and a few goals of what I want to get. So here's my situation. My end goal is to trade for a Ted Williams card from any of the years that he played, or sell my cards to get the money to purchase it. The issue is most of my cards are not worth that much (a lot of the infamous 1986-1994 cards). I know most people won't want to purchase the cards I have so are there sets out there that aren't worth a ton, but would make a little money so I could get that Ted Williams card? 

Basically, I want to trade my cards for a set or group of cards that I could use to fund my goal. Does anyone have suggestions?

I don't do baseball, so I can't help you with your goal. But I can say welcome! 

Also, enter your tradelist and wantlist. Even the cards you think everybody already has. You never know what will happen! I entered my entire tradelist and the most common set in one of my sports was the first one people asked for- and I traded away 90% of what I had within a month of listing them.

And I love the goal. And I hate to dash any dreams, but you seem to be asking how to spin straw into gold. I just bought 132 1988 cards for $3 plus shipping. They just don't pull much cash. Williams's cards from his playing days are hella expensive, which is why I own exactly one. I don't really have any suggestions, other than to save your money, buy when you see a good deal, and don't expect to be able to essentially trade even an entire 80s set for one decent 50s Williams. Maybe some of your Tiffany stuff, which I really don't know much about, could garner a few more dollars?

I just checked COMC, and if you'll settle for poor condition, you can get a 1958 Topps All-Star for under $50. So it's not hopeless.  But depending on what your stuff is, you'll be hard-pressed to get much cash for cards from the "junk era".
