Why are some of the Food Issues listed as i..e. 1987 Topps K-Mart, 1994 Upper Deck Denny's instead of 1987 K-mart and 1994 Denny's and so forth. They would be easier to locate. Just a thought.

From the TCDB FAQ's:
What is the naming convention for cross-promotional sets?
For sets that were manufactured by one company and released by a different company, if both company names are present on the card, the set's name should reflect both names.
Examples:
Topps K-Mart
Topps Woolworth
Upper Deck McDonald's
Upper Deck Post

Yep, it should be listed in Promo Sets, not Food Issue, so if you see aK-Mart in food, submit an IR to change type

They sell food at Kmart. Seriously, you get used to where to look for things after a while. It's not like there's a lot of categories to chose from.

The KMart set appears to be correctly listed under Oddball.

True K-Mart sells food, Wal*Mart sells food, Target sells food. They are all the same kind of general merchandice or department store not JUST food. Food is not their main product either. So they are more Oddball than food

Back to the original OP's question, I wish they were listed by the store / food chain (some still are and I have no plans of submitting IR on them). If we really have to have the company thatbprinted the card in the name as well, then call them, e.g. 1987 K-Mart Topps. I think the majority of the people search for them by K-Mart and not by Topps. I also keep that example in alphabetical order using the K as the lead. This goes for Ames, Hill, Drake's, McDonald's, Danny's, etc. etc. etc.
