I don't know if it's a phase I'm going through, or not, but I see this card among others by this seller, and all his Poor conditioned cards seem similarly worn and being sold as a reprint "just to be safe.". Or is that just me?

Ooooh. It's not you. This guy has 13 feedbacks? And ALL of these super-rare, would-be magnificent cards have the exact same rounded corners and scratches and creases, but very little loss of gloss. I think this guy is ripping off numerous people who are paying a lot for "aged" counterfeits. I'd say .05% chance that these are legit cards. Quite a collection he's got there, though. Cough, cough.
v3
....And of his 13 whole feedbacks, 10 are "private listings?" And none are for vintage cards? He's a fraud.
...And, oh look, ALL of his 34 bidders on his incredible rare 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth card are "private listings." He should be reported.
....I couldn't take it. Too obvious. ALL of his bidders on ALL of his (incredibly rare) cards are "private listings." He's fake bidding to inflate his counterfeits. Which makes me feel better because that means he's not actually making any money off of this scam. I reported two of the listings. I HATE conmen!!!

Build up enough feedback, start selling beater counterfeits as 'unknown'. No idea why you'd be suspicious? 😉. No matter what quality of card you find acceptable, there's a lot of unscrupulous people looking to take advantage. It sucks, but there's not much to do except educate buyers to sellers this obviously bad.

I went searching for ways to contact Ebay just in general about the counterfeits being sold, but couldn't really find a link other than to call them. Until it hits Ebay in the pocketbook, they're not going to stop this. If it didn't bring TCDB money, I'd say we should all stop buying from Ebay.

I've sent the seller an email asking, "Why do all your vintage cards have the same type of wear?"

Rounded corners, all look they were aged using the same tea and all have major creases in half and the same exact corner creases. Dude isn't "Selling as reprint", he is sell counterfeit cards that are meant to rip people off.

Just above the Ebay item number on the lower right hand side of the listing, just above the big box where it say's Items specifics is the link to report an item.
