Well, my mom didn't throw my cards out, but I've definitely strongly hinted that my wife may have.
But, my mom did try to save my cards in a chest with some other personal belongings that my brother and I had. In there I had a Topps Namath RC (one of those tall boys), some '66 Topps baseball with Mays, Clemente, '66-'67 Philadelphia football, and '68-'70 Topps football.
Somehow mysteriously the chest disappeared from my grandparents home. Mom had a large family and they were always visiting my grandparents from out of town. And growing up with my cousins I wouldn't hesitate considering any of them suspects in stealing the chest.
